This is the inside of St Cuthberts in the village of Fishlake in South Yorkshire, UK. Currently the church is undergoing some renovation work on the inside and the outside.
HDR/Tonemapped from three images -/+2ev then merged in Photomatix and then completed in CS4
My first 3D printed assembly. I can't wait to wield it in my next game of Munchkin!
Each part was printed separately in fabulous 3mm ABS filament, using an Ultimaker 2 3D printer, at .12mm layer resolution, and acetone smoothed for that "fresh from the foundry" feel.

got the loveliest surprise in the mail today from jesse. a postcard of southwestern pines. he knows how much i love pine trees. :) made my week brighter, especially with the impending weight of finals and papers (and being a college graduate, finally) looming!

So how did you all spend your Wednesday night? I was dying my hair red....blonde wasn't just doing it for me anymore. I think my bangs need a trim too.
I was thinking of using some pesto and dying it green......but I didn't want people to think I was weird.
PS - I know I have had some wacky shots before but I seriously asked myself about 10 times tonight, "What the f#ck are you doing with your life?" Guess that makes me a true FGRer now.
Since visiting the ballroom in 2012 the owners have redeveloped the estate and have moved in, how lucky for them that that this ballroom is now in their back garden, I feel lucky to have seen it while I did as it is no longer abandoned these photo's I feel will immortalise it forever for those that never got to see inside.
It was late in 2012 at 4.30am we drove to the ballroom, all the way I kept thinking it was the stuff made from fairytales, I wasn’t even sure if it could actually even exist, an underwater ballroom, lying deep beneath a lake on an abandoned estate, built in Victorian times. You cant get to the ballroom by land as we would never break an enter any building and the door to the hut that takes you to the ballroom is locked and alarmed, it left no option but to make it across the lake to an island where the door was open, in the pitch black we made it through the trees and to the lake bank where we blew up a boat, and rowed towards the island.
Soon we were inside the ballroom, being underneath water felt strange like being in one of those underwater aquariums or a glass bottom boat, but nothing really could prepare you for being in a room, where the entire ceiling is made from thick glass and nothing but water above you, a long tear shaped corridor connected to a spiral staircase which I believe takes you to hut which is the entrance from the outside. It was truly the stuff from fairytales. The sun started to come up and light came through the glass for the first time, despite the algae that had obviously been growing for years, it looked very beautiful, the whole room glowed green, we photographed for an hour or two before decided to make our exit, seeing things like this is just so special and I cant believe how lucky I am to have such incredible experiences as this.

Finally getting to the point of doing examples of what some of my pieces can look like when colored in with colored pencils for my coloring packets ... have been working on this project on & off along with my cards for quite awhile now ... hoping that they will do well in my Esty shop when I finally get it up & running in a few weeks ... sending out my 1st packets to my grandkids this week! :) ... The tomb (türbe) of Selim II (1566-1574) was built after his death in 1577. Its site to the southwest of the Hagia Sophia was prepared during extensive repairs conducted during the sultan's rule when the immediate vicinity of the converted cathedral was cleared of residential structures. The tombs of his son Murad III (1574-1595) and his grandson Mehmed III (1595-1603) were built later at either side of his tomb. Inside the tomb, lie his wife Nurbanu Sultan, as well as Gevherhan and Ismihan Sultans.

The Republic has lost all contact with a Venator orbiting the planet Phindar. Jedi masters Yoda and Mace Windu decided to send Viper Squad to go check things out...
Viper Squad's personal ship, "The Fang", comes out of lightspeed and arrives at the planet Phindar where that Venator was last known to be. Slash flies "The Fang" around to the other side of the planet, where sure enough, there It was...The Venator they were looking for...
Trek : "There It is." - Slash : "It looks abandoned." - Trek : "Fly us in for a closer look." Trek turns on the com device. Trek : "Venator 228, this is Clone Commander Trek, do you read me?" There was no answer. Trek : "I repeat, this is Clone Commander Trek, do you read me? Is everything ok?" No Answer... "We'd better go in and check it out. I'll message the Generals." As Slash tries to navigate "The Fang" in for a landing inside the Venator, Trek pulls out his Holopad and turns it on. A hologram of Yoda and Mace Windu appears. Yoda : "Have something to report do you?" - Trek : "Yes, sir. We found the Venator." - Mace Windu : "What happened? Is everything ok?" - Trek : "We don't know, It looks as if it was attacked. I tried to contact them, but there was no answer." - Mace Windu : "If it was attacked, then how come we didn't receive any emergency transmissions?" - Trek : "We're not sure, General. We're going to go in and check it out now." - Yoda : "Mysterious this is...Anything more you find out, report it to us you will." - Trek : "Will do, General." The Hologram disappears. Slash : "Sir, we're coming in for a landing." - Trek : "Good." Trek walks out of the cockpit and into the seating room where Hawk and Shock are sitting. Trek : "Alright, we're going in for a better look. You guys ready?" - Shock : "We're always ready, sir." - Trek : "Good to hear."
They land in the Hanger bay and load out down the ramp. The place had certainly been attacked, there was destruction and dead clone troopers everywhere. But the question was, who attacked this Venator, and why? Trek : "Come on, let's move!" - Shock : "It sure is creepy...It's like a ghost ship or something." - Slash : "What do you think happened here?" - Trek : "I'm still not sure." As they moved through the ship, there was still no signs of who actually did this. They finally made their way to the Command Bridge, only to find more down Clones and Officers. And there was still no sign of who massacred this place... Trek : "Quick, check for survivors!" Hawk and Shock started checking the bodies. Hawk : They're all dead over here, sir." Slash neeled down to the commanding Clone Officer of the Venator. He was dead too... Slash : "They're all dead, sir..." - Shock : "Who could have done this?" - Trek : "Certainly not separatists." - Slash : "Bounty hunters, sir?" - Trek : "That's a possibility..." Trek was silent for a moment. Even if it was Bounty Hunters, why would they attack a Venator? "Wait, Shock! Check the control consoles, see if any information has been tampered with or stolen!" - Shock : "Right away, sir!" - Trek : "That's the only reason I could think of that anyone would attack this Venator for. Republic Information." The power was dead, but Shock plugged in a powering device into the console to give it power again. Shock looked through the system and finally found something... Shock : "Sir, information regarding Duchess Satine and Mandalore has been tampered with and taken out of the system." - Trek : "Wait, information on Duchess Satine?!" - Shock : "Yes, sir. Why? What's wrong?" - Trek : "Duchess Satine is in hiding on the planet Malastare because she recently had an attempt on her life..." Trek was silent for a while, then he spoke. "I know who did this." - Slash : "Who, sir?" - Trek : "Mandalorians..."

Yay! Viper Squad is now back! What will happen next? Stay tuned for the rest of their missions later on this year! There's 11 more to go! But, yeah! I've been away for awhile, not that anyone noticed or cared haha, but I plan on posting a lot more soon. Been busy with moving into a new place and getting ready for a wedding...only 7 days away! Once we're all moved in and finished up with all the wedding stuff, I hope to be back at it and posting again.
Anyways...today I bought some new editing software, VSCO Film 02 to be exact, and I'm real excited and anxious to start putting it to use. I bought the first set not too long ago and I loved it, so I expect nothing but good thing from the next set. If you haven't heard of it, I suggest you look into it, it wont disappoint. Today's photo is nothing special, but like I said, I wanted to test out the new software. Hope you all have a great weekend

The amazing control room in an abandoned power plant. It was build between 1927 and 1929. The little house inside the control room is actually a bunker where the workers could hide during bombing raids. The power plant became the largest one in the country and the most modern in Central Europe before it was abandoned in 2006.
