Looks like at least one of the nymphs I've been following has reached maturity. They're a lot cuter when they're babies.

 

Not sure what to think about katydids in the garden, but this is somewhat reassuring -

 

"Like other Orthoptera, katydids have chewing mouthparts, and most are herbaceous but rarely cause significant plant damage to crops or ornamental plants. You may find some feeding on leaves and flowers in your garden or on your potted plants, especially in late summer."

Les insectes profitent de ces quelques fleurs de trèfle encore fraîches pour prendre des forces avant cet été.

Beetles on a wild rose, ‘Google’ suggest they are an invasive Japanese beetle. Photo was taken in a park in Toronto. Invasive or not, the beetles are very colourful.

Fly? Beetle? I was shooting the wet salvia flowers when I thought I saw a tiny bug in one...

Chorthippus, pseudochorthippus...etc, j'en perd mon latin, si quelqu'un a une idée de l'espèce, je suis preneur!!

Between all these water drops on the grass I found a small insect. Maybe he wanted to hide there against the rain :)
