This tiny critter called “Woolly Aphid” is the smallest insect I’ve ever photographed. About 1 mm long.

During the Summer especially when the sprinkler system is on Dragonflies for some reason love these white Echinacea when wet, you can actually see them move their head to the direction of the water,

I appreciate all those lovely little insects out there, living their lives happily oblivious of our activities. Yet once in awhile we can see that perhaps it is we humans that are missing all of their artistic efforts.
