Arachnid threads with intriguing bokeh and diffraction as seen by a 50mm Nikon f1.8 lens - plus a bit of input from 3 extension tubes and Photoshop CC. This is a single exposure with the usual RAW processing tonal lifts and adjustments that the software is good at.

Now for something very different. On my latest London visit on Friday one of my targets was Leake Street and its graffiti. This is a road which is a dead end for motor vehicles and passes under Waterloo Station. It is known as London’s Graffiti Tunnel and far from being illegal Graffiti is encouraged and is supported by local business as it is part of the attraction to bring in customers. No doubt there are shady characters in hoodlies after dark but during the day it is just people taking a shortcut and other photographers.
The risk with photographing graffiti is that you are just recording somebody else’s art so I wanted to put in my own input especially with a really low pov and good wide angle and including the passers by. It was take on a tripod which has a setting on the legs to spread them out really low so the kerb and the drainage grill are part of the composition. Graffiti can change frequently and for this shot I really liked the eyes on the ceiling and the devil on the right
The picture was taken on a tripod with a Sony A68 with a Sigma 10-20 wide angle zoom at 10 mm. I took 3 shots for HDR. 3 raw images 2EV spacing processed with Photomatix Fusion with Contrast Optimiser for a natural look. Topaz Clarity was used to bring in more detail. Brightness adjustment layers to bring in more light. No adjustments to colours, they were as seen

You may have noticed these have a hole in the palm, unlike my test version. They're here to make it easier to hold weapons, or to give the impression of shooting elemental powers. Thanks to Marek and Du7734 for their input.

Hand-held & lit by a Speedlite with a red gel resting on it & a strobe on a stand which required two triggers, one each, because Slave mode is absolute pants... Lawd bless Canon & their predilection for adding a million inputs to their camera bodies.

^)(^ SORRY: I have to "slow down" (probably fewer photos, fewer input in groups, fewer comments and slower responses, etc.) for the next coming weeks, because we renovate our house ♫♪
I am very sorry about possible inconveniences ...
The cheap, plastic Diana is probably the worst camera I have ever used—I need to shoot with it out more often! I love the erratic exposure, terrible color rendering, vignetting, chromatic aberrations, and massive lens flare. All add up to unpredictable film fun.

With limited access to the west side of the line whilst OHL input continues at a slow pace on the MML north of Kettering, a view of 60055 working 6Z43 on Friday 11th 2022 at Rushton, Northants. The view 2 years on is with rebuilt and higher-ed bridge, OHL and posts in view, progress for the railway, preferred view now gone!
Been wanting to shoot the rapeseed fields for a while but never found the location where I could stop the car. Today, on route to photograph something else, I input the wrong location in sat nav so ended up here by error.
Beautiful spot with not another soul or car in sight and just the sound of bird song.
I'll be back later with some info and a plea for Kevin's Input.

Former attack bomber, "Orbital Lance" class, designed for scouting in the outer atmosphere, blasting away defences with two autocannons and dropping whatever kind of bomb it has loaded. Decommissioned and sold as a recreationel vehicle for the very, very rich. The current owner refitted it with guns, tried to pass it off as a medical craft and gave it an all-caps name to further piss of any registering authorities. He is currently leaving a refueling station in a hurry with resupply lines dangling about.
This thing was a huge pain to take photos of, I feel like I only have to look at it too much and it will fall apart. I noticed too late in the game that some connections were very flimsy and that my light box was way too small. It was my most challenging build so far, not only because of the many differently angled polygons.
All in all it was very fun to build, I overcame many obstacles and now feel more confident to build bigger ships (this one measures 70 studs after all).
Despite it's rough looks and the mediocre photography I hope you all like this and/or maybe you have some advice on how to identify stability issues early in the build?
Oh and props go to Matt Rowntree whose amazing entry for SHIPtember 2017 gave me the idea of building in technic scale.
any input ... (?) ... where
is a line drawn between
minimal and simplistic?
or abstract and surreal?
something to ponder for

More from the same patch of ramsons as the recent bee-fly shot.
I was slightly puzzled by this one. The wing veins are exactly right for the Eristalini tribe of hoverflies, but with no yellow markings and no eye spots it doesn't match anything in the book. The conclusion I've come to is that it must be an exceptionally dark Myathropa florea - but I'd appreciate any input on this.

I tried every which way to get something useful out of a small and blurry input image of a drawing of mine I found. - No luck. But the idea intrigued me, so I ran a few prompts without a input.
This one, in wide screen, with my 'Trained Drawing Lora'.
PROMPT:
Surreal Fantasy Drawing by the Mystic Otto Rapp under the Influence of Ernst Fuchs, H.R. Giger and Beksinski, graphite on paper, black and white, detailed pencil strokes, psychedelic collage, cryptid taxidermy in Bogomils Universe
Thanks to some input from Graeme Nattress I'm figuring out that I can't rely on the daylight setting in RED camera. I have to white balance each and every time due to the color temperature of daylight varying by over a 1000 Kelvin:
reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=32657
Due to Build 20 being more accurate you can't just set the camera on daylight setting and expect everything to be about right. The color temeperatures are way different compared to non Build 20. Never had this much cast at 5600k before on previous builds.
Heck I just may buy this color meter now:
Sorry for all the waterfalls - I'm trying to learn processing. Any input on the images would be appreciated. It will help me in learning how to work with images in post. Thx!
This is another view of Hartford, Connecticut. Folks who are following my stream know how i end up to this beautiful view. and yes i was flying by this town when for a split second i saw the most beautiful view of downtown Hartford. i had only 2 choices. Either to keep going or slam the brakes on. i am glad i choose the second option.
Regarding our yesterday's discussion about "Photo Backup" we do have a great input, thoughts and recommendations . at least 3 people have said they would start backing up now. well that's a great achievement of the discussion. here are some points most people mentioned.
1. Don't trust your computer. it can fail any time.
2. Back up the back up.
3. At least have one off site copy of your back up. (away from your home)
Again thanks to all of you and have a wonderful weekend my friends.

Look back at a couple of shots not previously uploaded in 2016. A good load from Sellafield to Drigg; moving low level waste for storage. You can see from the clouds that we were lucky with the sun in the end, the 20 minute wait as it appeared later than timetabled had us worried though!
Thanks to Andy and Adrian in particular for organising, also to everyone else for their input.
I am learning photoshop and this is my second attempt to edit milkyway. Hope you like it. Please give your inputs for any improvement. Thank you and have a nice weekend.
So whilst getting 4469 ready for bus wash training duties i inputted a random letter on the hanover controller. A whole manor of random and obscure destinations appeared
