My new 'Big Easy' feeder is proving very popular, Brambling is taking his time 'sussing things out' but eventually he got to the seed portal.
Thank you for viewing my photographs, commenting a fav-ing. I know how time consuming it can be so I do appreciate your input.
Look back at a couple of shots not previously uploaded in 2016. A good load from Sellafield to Drigg; moving low level waste for storage. You can see from the clouds that we were lucky with the sun in the end, the 20 minute wait as it appeared later than timetabled had us worried though!
Thanks to Andy and Adrian in particular for organising, also to everyone else for their input.
That toy is just sitting there minding its own business, not knowing there is a cat who is about to viciously attack it.
This is the Nikkor-Q version of the lens which is a touch softer than the coated "Q C" flavor, but still a decent lens. The addition of the Butterfly Chip to the lens, adding immediate EXIF input and body-controllable f-sops, is a nice addition to its usefulness.

Earlier this month when Nikon released their D850 camera, 32 professional male photographers were surveyed on the camera’s latest features and how it would impact their work. There wasn’t a single female photographer on the list. After public criticism, Nikon released a statement revealing the details of the incident, mentioning they invited a few women photographers, but they were unable to attend, but the Internet isn’t quite ready to lay the issue to rest.
Thirty-two men and zero women is not a balanced input. When children are young, their minds are full of dreams. Every child grows up with dreams. Some dream of being artists, performers, a president, or other notable careers. Some also grow up with the dream of becoming a photographer. We have Nikon's list of 32 male photographers. In honor of Dream Day, here is Flickr's list 32 phenomenal female photographers that we'd would recommend for Nikon in the future.

Saint Basil’s cathedral on the Red square in Moscow, Russia.
In 16th century a stone church of the Trinity with a small cemetery was situated on this place. The Blessed Vasily, who has died in August 2, 1555, considered to be foolish, was buried near this stone church. In October 2, 1552, Russian troops took Kazan - the capital of the Kazan khanate. In commemoration of this event tsar Ivan the Terrible ordered to construct 7 wooden temples on the Red Square, where in 1555-1561 a stone temple, named after the Feast of the Protective veil, was erected (the assault on Kazan began the day of the holiday of the Protective veil, after two months siege). The church, situated in the central tower, was devoted to this holiday. Four towers-churches are located on different sides of the world. The northern - in the name of St. Kiprian and Ustina; that was the day of the complete capture of Kazan. In 1786 under petition of rich investor Natalia Hruscheva the church was consecrated in the name of St. Adrian and Natalia. The southern church is consecrated in the name of Nicola Velikoretsky, that is also connected with the Kazan campaign. The western church is consecrated in the name of the Input to Jerusalem, it is connected with solemn returning of the army to Moscow. Eastern church is consecrated in the name of Trinity, that is, the church, which was before situated at the cathedral place, was transferred into it.
The towers, located along the diagonals, are devoted to various events of the Kazan campaign: north - west church of the Grigory Armyansky (day of capture of the Arskaya tower). South - east church of Alexander Svirsky (rout of 30-thousand group tatar cavalry under the command of the tatar prince Japanchi); north -east church of the three patriarchs of Alexandria - the memory day of these saints is marked the same day as the memory day of Alexander Svirsky. South - west church of Varlaam Hutynsky is the only church, which is not connected with the events of the campaign.
The central temple consists of tetrahedron, octahedron and is completed by an octahedral light drum with gilded head. There is a covered promenade (gallery) around the bottom circle. Vaults of the promenade lean on the massive columns with decorative pediments on the top. Transition from the octahedron to a tent is decorated with the set of kokoshniks. Four towers - churches, located on the sides of the world, consist each of three octahedrons, narrowed by ledges, and a drum with the figured head. Four small churches on diagonals are tetrahedrons, transition to a drum is made out by three rows of semicircular kokoshniks. The building has no expressed main facade and is designed for an all-round viewing, for circular detour. Interiors of churches are simple. The cathedral is interesting in its appearance. As though it represents the fantastic "paradise town". The temple is fairly considered to be a monument of architecture and construction art of world value. Till now the cathedral is a branch of the State Historical museum. The first divine service was held in October, 14, 1991, however regular divine services are not made.
HDR made from three shots with tripod, AEB -2, 0 +2. Equipment: Canon EOS 500D and EF-S10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM. Processed with Photomatix Pro 4.0, Photoshop Elements 7.0, Topaz Adjust 4 and Noise Ninja.

Master of Water, Knight in the service of the House of Kihanu, and Toa Vihagu.
My intent with the MOC was to tone down the colors from the previous version and make him appear more like a particular style (in this case, a knight) rather than a collage of unorganized parts. This version toned down the yellow a lot, and for the moment does not include any dark azure, although I may re-add that. Shins are the main thing I need input on, as I haven't come across anything that works. I also plan for him to have a custom helmet in the final version.

🌟How do you deal with mistakes in your art?🌟
I'm currently painting this oil piece based on a digital painting I did a year ago for Valentines as well, using my two characters "Calestis" and "Adeimos" from my project. I was SOOO excited to start this because it's gonna be the second time ever that I paint two characters in one illustration with quite lots of details using oils. Aaand not to mention, using warm tone colour palette which I'm not that used to with my traditional art.
I had to gesso some parts of her body so I can start over fixing the mistakes... this is not something I usually do. But this time I want to do my BEST and I knew I can fix the mistakes so I went brave and just covered her up. Her anatomy was wonky af and it bothered me so much! BUT PS : DO NOT ever use gesso on top of an oil painting, because it can crack your painting overtime. I just wanted to practice and do my best and experimented more.
Lesson is, ask your friends first to get some input as they can see your work with different set of eyes. Second, don't be afraid to start over if you know it's worth it! And just like in life (pardon me if this sounds cheesy lol) you have to sometimes start over or give things a second chance. As LONG as you truly know it's worth your time, energy, and emotions. Oh also last but not least that time + patience = precious quality

Darwin Harbour is the body of water close to Darwin in the Australian Northern Territory. It opens to the north at a line from Charles Point in the west to Lee Point in the east into the Beagle Gulf and connects via the Clarence Strait with the Van Diemen Gulf. It contains Port Darwin, which is flanked by Frances Bay to the east and Cullen Bay to the west.
Name
It was named after the naturalist Charles Darwin who sailed with Robert Fitzroy on the ship HMS Beagle around parts of Australia. However, Darwin and Fitzroy sailed in 1836 from King George's Sound (Western Australia) directly to the Cocos-Keeling Islands, at the south coast of Java, and from there to Cape Town and back to England. They stayed thus away from Darwin Harbour by 3000 sea miles and did not know of its existence.
Climate
The climate of the Darwin Harbour region is monsoon tropical with two distinct seasons: the Dry and the Wet. The Dry lasts for 6 months between April and September with an average rainfall of 24 mm, whereas the Wet lasts between October and March with an average monthly rainfall of 254 mm/month (according to the Bureau of Meteorology, 1999). The majority of the rain falls between December and April. Runoff varies between 250–1000 mm. Riverine discharge is relatively low with the exception of the Blackmore River and Elizabeth River. Peak flow for these rivers occurs in February, respectively 605Ml/day and 389 Ml/day, after which it slowly decreases until July when there is no freshwater input into Darwin Harbour until the onset of the following wet season (Padovan 1997). Cyclone frequency is low to moderate.
Marine life
Darwin Harbour supports very high fish diversity with 415 fish species now known. Darwin Harbour provides a unique opportunity to see dugongs in the wild, because their favourite food is located off Casuarina and Vestey’s beaches. Seagrass meadows are also the main diet of green turtles and provide habitats for many smaller marine animals including commercially important species such as prawns and fish.
Oceanography
The tides at Port Darwin are macro-tidal with a maximum tidal range of 7.8 m, a mean spring range of 5.5 m and a mean neap range of 1.9 m (Padovan, 1997). The currents caused by these tides are complex and strong.
Estuaries
The Elizabeth River Bridge across Elizabeth River, upstream the East Arm of Darwin Harbour
Darwin Harbour is a drowned river valley and consist of ria shorelines and extensive headlands.
Catchment
The catchment of Darwin Harbour occupies a total area of approximately 3,230 square kilometres (1,247 sq mi), of this 2,010 square kilometres (776 sq mi) is land based and the other 1,220 square kilometres (471 sq mi) are estuarine areas at the high water mark.

I'm noticing that on some monitors, my photos are really washed out! I know it's this monitor calibration thing, but I'd like you to take a vote so I can get a sense of whether I need to calibrate my monitor or not (it's not something I want to do unless I really need to since I've heard so many unhappy post-calibration stories!)
YES - looks too bright on your monitor
NO - looks about right on your monitor
Thanks so much for your input!!!

The amp provides 55 watts pc and that's enough for rocking the whole house and neighbors. A three-stage impedance matching for phono input is something special. Two phono inputs were already standard at Technics amplifiers.

I have a lot of ideas bouncing around in my head all at once. In fact, I’m actually diagnosed with ADHD, and this constant scatterbrainedness can make it difficult for me to complete long-term projects and assignments in an organized manner. Therefore, I’d like to ask you guys’ input on what kind of figures you’d like to see next! The school year is winding down, and once I’m done with finals, it’ll be 50 hr work weeks with 3-4 hours of MCAT study in the evenings. So I’ll need to be very careful with my time if I want to continue building over the summer.
Here are some of my ‘bouncing’ ideas, and if you have any of your own that you don’t see on this list, let me know in the comments!
(In no particular order):
1. Redoing my Forever Evil set with more accurate characters (and added ones)
2. Classic JSA
3. Continuing to keep up with current Rebirth storylines for new characters and "Page to Pictures"
4. X-Men (as teased, heh heh)
5. Super-Family
6. Bat-Family, and/or generally a greater focus on Batman
7. Priest’s current Deathstroke run
8. "Generations” (spoiler, it’s all the incarnations of the Teen Titans/Titans, this one would take a while)
9. Justice League International
10. Suicide Squad (this one’s for you, Adam)
11. Summer landscape/cityscape photography
12. Nudes
Fig formulas:
Updated Indigo-1: Star Sapphire head/torso/arms/hips, White Tiger plume, Balloon Escape Joker coattails, TLGM Velma Staplebot CMF legs
Mystique: Friends Ariel hair, GotG Vol. 1 Nebula head, reversed Pepper Potts torso, LBM Catman CMF utility belt, Lightning Lad legs
Monarch Containment Suit (retired): changed the hips and added the yellow utility belt for accuracy
I’ll let the title speak for the image! ..or vice versa
Special thanks to my neighbor’s dog for visual input!
(if this offends any of my viewers I apologize, but as Forest Gump said “it Happens!”)
