Chez les poissons non-Ostariophysaires, c’est d'ordinaire la sagitta (ici colorée en orange et verdâtre), otolithe baignant dans le saccule (2), qui est la plus grande. Sa taille dépasse souvent celle de la macule (1) qu’elle recouvre. Ces otolithes sont généralement ovales et comprimés, et sont impliqués dans la perception de sons, la détection des accélérations et le maintien de l’équilibre. Le saccule (2), une des chambres otolithiques, constitue la partie ventrale du labyrinthe. Comme on le voit, les otolithes prennent généralement bien - quoique de manière hétérogène (voir aussi P14a_005). - les colorants histologiques usuels.

In non-Ostariophysian fishes, the sagitta (here in orange and greenish), bathing in the sacculus (2), is generally the most developed. It is often larger than the macula (1). Sagittae are generally oval and flattened and are major receptors of sound and maintaining balance in fish. The sacculus (2), one of the three otolithic chambers, belongs to the ventral part of the labyrinth. Otoliths are usually strongly stained by histological dyes, but often heterogeneously (see also P14a_005).

This is the warehouse where the tuna auctions happen every morning from 5:30am-7am. Those bluefin tunas were huge! It's almost as big as the guy dragging it.
Tsukiji is the world's largest wholesale fish/seafood market, handling more than 2,200 tons of seafood everyday. The Inner Market is the licensed wholesale market, where the auctions and most of the processing of the fish take place and where approximately 900 licensed wholesale dealers operate small stalls. The Outer Market is a mixture of wholesale and retail shops in addition to sushi restaurants.

About Basavakalyan Fort
Basavakalyana fort, earlier known as Kalyana fort, is located in Bidar district in the Indian state of Karnataka. Its historic importance is dated to the 10th century. The capital of Chalukyas was also shifted from Manyakheta to Kalyana in the 10th century. The fort, integral to the Basavakalyana town, is also famous as Karmabhoomi of Basavanna (founder of Virashaiva community) and hundreds of other Sharanas (saints of Virashaiva community).
Basavakalyana (known in the history as Kalyana) with its fort was the centre of a great social and religious movement, in the 12th century, because of Basaveshwara, the social reformer. It became a seat of learning. Basaveshwara, Akka Mahadevi, Channabasavanna, Siddarama and many more Sharanas are associated with Basavakalyana.
