Inns of Court, in London: group of four institutions of considerable antiquity that have historically been responsible for legal education. Their respective governing bodies, the benches, exercise the exclusive right of admitting persons to practice by a formal call to the bar. They consist of the Inner Temple and Middle Temple (both housed within the area known as The Temple), Lincoln’s Inn, and Gray’s Inn—all of which are located in the general vicinity of the Royal Courts of Justice, at the boundary between the City of London and Westminster.

Walk alone, anywhere under
the sky and experience the place.
Connected to the place that is around
and inside me.
And to reflect myself by joining
all that is me – inside and out.
To be able to carry with me
myself as I have experienced that
second, that place – and safeguard.
And every given moment since
I can reflect on who I was
And be myself again.
The new Hafen City continues to spring up out of the ground at an amazing pace and in impressive style - the harbour on one side and backdropped against the venerable canal warehouses on the other.

Inner peace is a rarer commodity these days. There are so many horrible things happening and there is a feeling of being powerless to stop them. We do what we can, and then do a little more. Spending time in nature helps. In the back of my mind I am very aware that it's a luxury that people in Gaza, the Ukraine, and others do not have as a respite.

Greetings from Toronto, a little memento from our trip to Kensington Market on a gorgeous Spring day. What a fabulous, colourful, multicultural part of town, what a collection of fascinating things to see and experience, there’s a new wonder at every turn. The shops, the wares, the vendors, the people; simply amazing. Truly a feast for the senses.
And in case we don’t connect before the day of celebration, Happy Mother’s Day, best wishes to all Moms in flickr’land and every Mom ‘round the globe who celebrates the occasion. I send big hugz! and lowies on your special day.

During our travels last year, I was able to briefly return to a place of some of my great childhood memories - Beskid Slaski Mountains in southern Poland. The mountains are not very high, almost rolling hills type of a landscape, but they are very picturesque and located in the range is the source of Poland's longest river Vistula. This is Biala Wiselka (White Vistula), one of the two streams that join together to form the main river.
