This arm tells the story of what just might be the roughest week of my life, the details of which I don't really feel the need to share. What I will say is that I think I've figured out what I want my first tattoo to be.
Another card for my AECP. Irresistible Inking was a great class where there are lots of ideas for using your Inks.. I used a couple of techniques here. Stamp block inking - using a round block and Altenew inks and once I had stamped the flower, I used a darker ink to paint the flower base then used the third layer of the stamp to add shading. I was inspired by Nicole's cards and particularly the addition of bows on her cards.
One of my new toys for storing ink swatches. The colors are CdA Storm, De Atramentis Aubergine/Giacomo Puccini and J Herbin Poussiere de Lune.

This is a picture of my credit card statement taken through an optical microscope. (with USB camera attachment).
At high magnification even the boldest, blackest typeface resembles chalk marks against a rough rock.
A couple of photos from Oxford today, which I visited for the day at the end of summer.
This is the outside table & chairs at the cafe of the University of Oxford New Bio-Chemistry. The images behind are part of the facade of the building. Not sure what they're meant to be, but maybe that's the point!
