For this picture I used an old, more or less acquired lens. It is a „Auto Beriflex 135 mm 1:2.8“ with M42 connector. "Beriflex" was a brand name of the Berlin company Beroflex AG. A system camera can be connected with a suitable adapter.

This interesting mushroom is growing on my lawn. At start the caps are white, and covered with scales. The gills beneath the cap are white, then pink, then turn black and secrete a black liquid filled with spores - hence the "ink cap" name.

One of my favourite brands of ink. I go through loads of the black on the far right of the image.

12A Bath Place, Taunton, Somerset.

Bath Place in Taunton, Somerset is an historic shopping street of almost entirely independent businesses - and today almost all were closed.

The Christmas shopping isn't going well!

My other hobby is making cards using mainly stamps and inks. These are very small ink pads and 2 together measure under 3 inches. For Macro Monday theme ‘Pink’.

Coprinus comatus or the Shaggy Ink Cap in its early stage, so not yet turning inky black at the bottom of its cap.

It's not poisonous at this stage, I've read, but I didn't try it out, so don't take my word for it ... (please read further comments below).

It has had its best days.

That time of year again :) When the weather is completely crap outside.

About the shot. No flash diffusion and no guar gum. Just plain water :)

Some of my favourite fountain pens and inks, in a chaotic state.

Does anybody have any Blotting Paper for there is a Ink Blot on the Landscape...

Just took this little macro picture yesterday in my back garden. I thought it looked interesting the way it leaned over like this and the way the ink seems to be running from it and staining the grass. I never noticed this before with these mushrooms (probably never looked before...lol)

The use of "sick" to mean excellent or impressive emerged in the early 1980s within the United States, specifically rooted in skateboarding and surfing subcultures.

The earliest recorded example of this usage is found in a 1983 university slang compilation from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where it was used to describe a concert as "unbelievably good." Cultural Context: The term gained traction because these "extreme" sports involved physically challenging and death-defying manoeuvres. Skaters and surfers began using words that suggested intensity, danger, or insanity—such as "sick," "nuts," "insane," "ill," or "wicked"—as high praise for a particularly impressive trick.
