A black rose for those that are a little bit goth or maybe for that sexy vampire.

This is one of nine in my body of work for the create everyday series. 3 x 3 watercolor.

Burger / Ink – Las Vegas

 

Estamos ante uno de esos discos que son pilares sonoros definitivos para la electrónica de los últimos años. Se trata de una colaboración llevada a cabo entre Jörg Burger y Mike Ink, quienes se conocieron hace muchos años y comenzaron a desarrollar bonitos temas influenciados por la música del Reino Unido. Pero llegó la explosión del acid house y nada fue lo mismo para ellos.

 

A comienzos de los noventa graban temas que lanzan en pequeños sellos y a los que no se sabía cómo llamarles. Los dos desarrollaron interesantes carreras en solitario, Jörg con su sello Eat Raw y bajo el nombre de The Bionaut. Y Mike Ink, con Profan.

 

Aquí se deleitan con el imaginario de la música americana (slide, guitarra, paisajes del desierto), solo que lo usan como referencia, porque lo suyo es hacer una electrónica minimalista, hipnótica con arreglos que nos recuerdan a esos días de la energía sonora de Wire, pero de manera sutil. Sus capacidades sonoras nunca han sido puestas en duda, y es más este disco tiene que ser escuchado calmadamente, porque de aquí se parte hacia el sonido que muchos otros empezaron a tomar tiempo después como lo pueden ser Pole o Vladislav Delay. Y esto fue hecho en 1996.

A visit to Williamsburg, VA, just a few days before Thanksgiving. This area is an open-air museum where you can walk about and learn of the way that people lived just prior to the revolution.

Polymer Clay. Earrings made with alcohol inks, gold leaf and translucent clay. I am going to change the ear wires to gold but, the green ones were what I had made at the moment. 10-17-12

This was KICK ass show!! OMGG what an experience. We were told to cut sick with poses, and "no safe" poses to be used. I tell you what.. it was awesome to cut loose and have some dirty fun lool!

Opium rocks!!!

 

showcasing the gorgeous ink work of SL Designers, Cyberstar, Inked Up, :Hebenon Vial and V3 tats. We will also be showcasing the stunning body piercings of Acide, :Hebenon Vial and The hair styles of Dura.

Final cover layout for "PTD #2:Void and Parallel". Not so sure about how the black will turn out using my current printing methods, but I guess it'll work. Hope the ink doesn't scrape off during folding, cutting, etc.

 

I switched the more interesting coloring of the skull to the front and the more subtle blue to the back for sales considerations. Also photoshop'd the boy's head a bit larger and more to the center of the white ghost monster thing.
