Andén y muelle de carga de la vieja estación de Agramón (Hellín, Albacete),fotografiados aprovechando la luz rasante del sol, intentando sacar partido del magno poder evocador y sugerente apariencia de los antiguos elementos ferroviarios, ya en desuso, combinados con los calídos colores del atardecer.

Platform, siding and goods shed of the old railway station of Agramón (Hellín, Albacete, Spain). I tried to take advantage of the evocative power and suggestive appearance of these old railway facilities, today in disuse, lighted by the beautiful low sunlight of the late afternoon.

I have had this unusual locaiton on my radar for a while, but never been to investigate. Best images of it that I have seen to date are by Slawek, Ed at E_W_Photo and at least one Though Bri's Lens.
I will have to come back for my long exposure special (I'm thinking dawn with high tide) when the superstopper has arrived.
Here imaged when passing on the way back from Hove with the Cokin 8 stopper, it doesn't really cut the mustard for long.

El frutero de Comsa recorre los últimos kilómetros de su recorrido, en uno de esos (muy pocos) días en los que los circuló adelantado y se le pudo dar caza en Valencia.
A Westbound Conrail TV train is on the West side of Rochester, NY on 11/23/1978. I don't have very many train photo's that were taken in late November thru mid December, as that is when I spend most of my time in pursuit of venison. This was undoubtedly taken with my old Graphlex camera, probably after I had left work. I kept the Graphlex in the glove box of my truck so that I always had a camera with me everywhere I went. The images were not the best, but better than nothing.
Normally, details like these are pretty much invisible. They're almost everywhere, so we pay no attention. I've started to notice them. And what puzzles me the most is, who keeps up with all the keys? Which reminds me of a line I heard ages ago: "The real Big Cheese is the man with the keys."
If you went through my portfolio you wouldn't find many shots from this far west of downtown. That' mostly because I like to stick to the more easily traversed Lake Shore path which runs north and south. Nevertheless I made it out to the West Loop and Greektown this weekend and managed to get a shot of "The Ike" during blue hour.
