Vandaag werd de mat 64'904 weer eens naar een andere werkplaats gebracht. Ditmaal was Haarlem aan de beurt. De trein reed en grappige route, helaas veel stekken met tegenlicht. Maar de route was Ldd-Wspl-Gd-Bkl-Asd-Hlm. Dus de trein werd met tegenlicht in Gouda opgewacht. De zon was al achter een gebouw gekropen toen de trein doorkwam. Ik heb de foto flink moeten oplichten en verscherpen. Maar ik deel heb toch even ;)
31279 heading an up parcels train through Southalll station on 14 July 1975. Built as D5809, it entered service in July 1961. and put into traffic 27/07/1961. It was still in service in 2016 as 31452 in all over green livery and grey roof.

This is roughly quarter of the way round the Wheel!! (Looking a touch rusty now!) You can see the pier on the left and the Sea Life Centre on the right!
DBS Class 92 No. 92042 and Class 67 No. 67006 make their way slowly over Battersea Railway Bridge that spans the River Thames on the West London Line (loco hauled trains are restricted to 20 mph on the bridge). The train is on route from Wembley to Dollands Moor with 4B45, a unit 45.com intermodal bound for mainland Europe via the Channel Tunnel.
The stunning facade of the walkie-talkie building at 20 Fenchurch Street, London, the parallel lines of its exterior towering off into the sky. I've got loads of images of this, it looked so impressive in the afternoon sun.
Code line, Cpl's, concrete whistle posts and the like are some of the main reasons why I continue to document the former B&O in Indiana. A temporary high green indication just east of Loogootee marks the passing of a short local at the end of it's run from North Vernon.
Well, actually it's the tunnel in Green Park underground station between the Victoria and Picadilly lines. But it could also be a tunnel to no where.
Getting it to appear this empty took a fair amount of patience!

Harpersfield Bridge is a covered bridge spanning the Grand River in Harpersfield Township, Ashtabula County, Ohio, United States. This double-span Howe truss bridge, one of currently 16 drivable covered bridges in the county, is the third longest covered bridge in Ohio at 228 feet. A flood in 1913 washed away the land at the north end of the bridge, and the steel span was subsequently attached. The bridge features a walkway, added during its renovation in 1991-92. The bridge also features an Ashtabula County MetroPark at its north end, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.[1] The bridge’s WGCB number is 35-04-19,[2] and it is located approximately 3.4 mi (5.4 km) south of Geneva.
