Assenheim/Hessen - Niddabrücke
Die heutige Brücke wurde 1929 errichtet. Sie ist eine Eisen-Fachwerkbrücke, deren tragende Fachwerk-Kästen unterhalb der Fahrbahn liegen. Die Brücke hat 6 Segmente, die in der Mitte auf 5 Betonpfeilern aufliegen. Die Oberleitungsmaste auf der Brücke – elektrifiziert wurde die Strecke 1960 – sind jeweils auf den Brückenpfeilern aufgeständert.
Die Niddabrücke ist ein Kulturdenkmal und steht unter Denkmalschutz. (Quelle s.u.)
To the best of my knowledge, the last wig wag in service on the Shasta Route protected KLAD Crossing. This grade crossing lies between Texum siding and Bieber Line Junction just south of Klamath Falls, Oregon. The white structure behind the stop sign was originally an administrative office building for the lumber mill on the site. After the plant closed for the final time, the administrative building was converted for use by radio station KLAD, which gave the crossing its unofficial name.
Although the radio station has since moved on, the crossing retains its unofficial name to this day. Not long after this Kodachrome was exposed, the Magnetic Flagman was retired by Union Pacific.

We saw the loaded Skoda-train already thursdayevening towards Rheinhausen. One and a half day later, the train is empty and passes the Elbe-valley again. With ITL 185 650 in the front the train has only a few kilometers to go to Bad Schandau, where a Czech engine will take the train over.

Craigavon Bridge is one of only a few double-decker road bridges in Europe. It was named after Lord Craigavon, the first Prime Minister of Northern Ireland. The bridge began construction in the late 1920s and was finished in 1933. The lower deck of the bridge originally carried a railway line for freight wagons, but this was replaced by a road in 1968

Matsumoto Castle is one of Japan's premier historic castles. The building is also known as the "Crow Castle" due to its black exterior. It was the seat of the Matsumoto domain. It is located in the city of Matsumoto, in Nagano Prefecture and is within easy reach of Tokyo by road or rail.
The keep (tenshukaku), which was completed in the late sixteenth century, maintains its original wooden interiors and external stonework. It is listed as a National Treasure of Japan.
Matsumoto Castle is a flatland castle (hirajiro) because it is not built on a hilltop or amid rivers, but on a plain. Its complete defences would have included an extensive system of inter-connecting walls, moats, and gatehouses.
The castle's origins go back to the Sengoku period. At that time Shimadachi Sadanaga of the Ogasawara clan built a fort on this site in 1504, which originally was called Fukashi Castle. In 1550 it came under the rule of the Takeda clan and then Tokugawa Ieyasu.
When Toyotomi Hideyoshi transferred Ieyasu to the Kantō region, he placed Ishikawa Norimasa in charge of Matsumoto. Norimasa and his son Yasunaga built the tower and other parts of the castle, including the three towers: the keep and the small tower in the northwest, both begun in 1590, and the Watari Tower; the residence; the drum gate; the black gate, the Tsukimi Yagura, the moat, the innermost bailey, the second bailey, the third bailey, and the sub-floors in the castle, much as they are today. They also were instrumental in laying out the castle town and its infrastructure. It is believed much of the castle was completed by 1593–94.
During the Edo period, the Tokugawa shogunate established the Matsumoto Domain, of which the Matsudaira, Mizuno, and others were the daimyo.
For the next 280 years until the abolition of the feudal system in the Meiji Restoration, the castle was ruled by the 23 lords of Matsumoto representing six different daimyo families. In this period the stronghold was also known as Crow Castle because its black walls and roofs looked like spreading wings.

After a successful run for the Watford 90 on 12-13th September 2015, the Metropolitan Railway milk van and Chesham set return to stable at Ruislip Depot.
Following much shunting to vacate shed roads normally occupied by Transplant, L150 has been detached from the formation, and the coaches and milk van have been backed into Ruislip Depot by Sarah Siddons and Met 1, with L150 then joining Met 1 later on at the end of the shed after running around it.
Upon arrival, the set is being prepared for handing back to the Bluebell Railway. Equipment used by LU Technical Services for the heritage operations is being removed and put back to where they are normally kept.

Ryde pier consists of three piers. The vehicle/pedestrian pier which leads to the Wightlink Fastcat terminal. In the middle is the tram pier which is no longer used and to the far right is the railway pier, the Island Line which runs to Shanklin. The trains on this line are ex 1930s London Underground stock. The pier is about a quarter of a mile long and celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2014
