I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,

And in His word I do hope.

Psalm 130:5

I took the opportunity to grab the obligatory shot of St Pauls from the Millenium Bridge. Not original but the sky was nice so I did it anyway.

Here's a photo taken from the parkland (Captain Burke Park) underneath the Story Bridge in Brisbane.

My original intention was to do a HDR/blended panorama but that idea was cut short by the number of sand flies and sand fly bites I was getting whilst taking this photo,

- I originally was not going to post this image, as I was not happy with the alignment with the pier support struts; I was somewhat hampered by the large rock which was where I wanted to be, and did not fancy getting my feet wet. However I thought it would be interesting to show this perspective.

Just round the corner from Weston-Super-Mare's Grand Pier is the now derelict Birnbeck Pier. The grade II* listed pier was designed by Eugenius Birch and opened in 1867. The main pier was originally 1,150 feet (351m) long, and it is 20 feet (6m) wide with a cantilever construction. However the low water jetty was damaged in a storm in 1903, rebuilt in 1909 and finally dismantled in 1923 such that the pier is now 1,040 feet (317m) long

The pier has been closed to the public since 1994 and is now on the Buildings at Risk Register.

Completed in 1937, making it 77 years old. Showing it's age...

It seems that they have just finished polishing the walls and sides of the escalators leading to the entrance of the movie theaters in Yurakucho Marion Building. I just stood on the middle of two escalators to release the shutter button, facing to the center of the opposite wall covered by the stainless steel.

If you are disappointed at the boring movie and get out of the theater, this amazing mirror world may help you a little to feel satisfied after all.

The beautifully clear blue sky was reflecting off that steel, making such a lovely cobalt colour that I couldn't resist.
