First time at this location and fumbled horribly with setting up the tripod on the parapet. Probably will re-shoot this again, hoping for the same light. The light was breathtaking that morning.

From Wikipedia:
Southbank was formerly an industrial area and part of South Melbourne. It was transformed into a densely populated district of high rise apartment and office buildings beginning in the early 1990s as part of an urban renewal program. Though few buildings built before this time have been spared redevelopment, Southbank does retain some significant heritage including many buildings in the major cultural precinct at the St Kilda Road end and some warehouses and wharves towards the area now known as "South Wharf".
The central feature of Southbank is Southgate Arts and Leisure Precinct, a retail, eating, and entertainment precinct on the southern bank of the Yarra River. Southgate features the iconic sculpture Ophelia by Deborah Halpern, which is the big Y symbol (representing Melbourne) that stands at Bear Brass cafe. The entertainment precinct extends along the Yarra and includes Crown Casino. The suburb also includes an office precinct and a hi-density residential precinct which has many skyscrapers, the tallest of which is the Eureka Tower. The Queensbridge Precinct includes Queensbridge Square, a pedestrian plaza and meeting place.

Standing at the edge of a forest in South West Scotland is the Big Water Of Fleet Viaduct. Gone is the railway it served, an early victim of the Beeching Cuts in the 1960s. This 300m long, 20 arch structure has survived to this day, although when it's smaller 9 arch sister over the Little Water Of Fleet was blown up by the army, the future looked grim. But now the viaduct is owned by Sustrans which should protect for future generations.

Epping Railway Station
Sydney, NSW, Australia.
In recent years there’s been an explosion of new construction work in Sydney outside of the city CBD.
Some interesting new railway stations have been built around Sydney - mainly underground.
Previously, most of the old suburban rail stations were quite bland, so this development has provided for some interesting photo opportunities
Also, there’s been a massive explosion in building construction work in the suburbs with Parramatta being one of the hotspots.
Included in these new developments are new infrastructure for universities such as UTS Sydney.
Another welcome development has been the construction of new libraries by some of the councils.
So I thought it would make a good project to try and document this new urban architecture.
It takes its name from the production of lime in the vicinity during medieval times. It is bounded to the north by Camomile Street, the division with Bishopsgate ward, before travelling due south along its eastern extremity, St. Mary Axe (which separates it from Aldgate ward), then south-west to the southernmost point of the ward (where Lime Street itself makes a small peninsula into Langbourn ward), cutting through Leadenhall Market and from there northwards up Gracechurch Street with the ward of Cornhill to the west. Just outside the ward boundary to the east is St Ethelburga's Bishopsgate, bombed by the IRA in 1993 and restored through generous donations, such as that provided by the Lime Street Ward Club.
A well organised ward, it has a long association with the insurance industry, with the specialist market Lloyd's of London based within its boundaries at the Lloyd's building. Three major construction projects — The Pinnacle, the Leadenhall Building and 100 Bishopsgate — are within the boundaries of the ward, and these skyscrapers will dramatically increase the number of workers in the 2010s.
