The open grate steel bridge crossing the Mississippi River between DeSoto,WI and Lansing,Iowa. The open mesh decking of this type of bridge produces a unique sound as tires rumble or sing crossing it.
The Orlando Eye is a 400 ft tall giant Ferris wheel near Orlando, Florida, US. It carried its first passenger on April 29, 2015. Since July 28, 2016, it has been known as Coca-Cola Orlando Eye.
Looking upwards at "The Tallest Block on the Planet". These supertalls are currently under construction and will be, once completed, among the tallest buildings in the world ranging from 80 to 120 floors each.

A different take on the Menai Suspension Bridge, in the middle of a thick sea-fog on the Straits at night.
Walking across the bridge in thick fog at any time is always an eerie experience, but even more so at night as the view out is completely obstructed, while the lines and shadows of this beautiful structure play in the light and mist.
Reprocessed in B&W, an older shot from back in March 2014, for a client wanting some unique monochrome images for their walls.
This is what I see from my new home in Ankara..quite often with flocks of birds foraging around for food on the fields opposite me.
And I'll soon be 'in the direction'' of Istanbul as we have a long religious holiday.Before leaving,I'll try to catch up as much as possible,albeit slowly..sorry if I cannot catch up with everybody.But sooner or later,I will..you know that:)

One of taller buildings in Osaka, but never have been the tallest, But most likely it's Germany highest consulate general. The Consulate is located in the 35th floor.
Taken with the camera lying on the floor, even the Tamron 15-30 was not wide enough to show the lower parts of the building

I shot this image of the famous Mon Bridge in Sangkhlaburi during a pretty cool tour I did. Also included were an elephant ride and a bamboo rafting experience. For a couple of days I had already tried to find a really good viepoint for shooting that bridge, and this boat cruise turned out to be just perfect.

The walkway at Silver Sands State Park draws your eye right to Charles Island, where some think Captain William Kidd buried part of his treasure on the way to trial in Boston in 1699. Could it be?
