Voor het eerst werd de vernieuwde losweg in Hengelo gebruikt. Volker Rail belaadde hier een trein met nieuwe betonnen dwarsligges. Naast de lok bevind zich een ''wand'' aan terzijde gesteld materieel, rechts in beeld bevind zich de oude bier brouwerij van Hengelo waar vroeger hét biertje van Hengelo werd gebrouwen.

Creo que ya he colgado más de una foto de este mismo día. Solo decir que hoy en día aquí hay una via que da acceso a la base de Talgo, y un montón de muros del futuro cajón de hormigón. Poco queda de todo esto. En la foto, una hilera de 252, la hilera de coches de la derecha es el Estrella Galícia, la hilera de la izquierda el Pío Baroja.

Earlier this week, I had a chance to visit the beautiful Winterthur Museum and Gardens. During my tour of the gardens, I saw a hedgerow of Elephant Ear plants (Colocasia). The sun was shining brightly on the leaves; I had never studied them up close before, and did not realize how incredibly beautiful the leaf structure was. Backlighting by the sun revealed an intricate pattern that made for a perfect natural abstract.
Post-processing involved cropping,increasing highlights, sharpening and use of the HDR effect by PicMonkey.

Throwback to this exciting day were I shot the Manhattan Bridge! It was raining like crazy and my daughter @frenchy_marine was holding an umbrella over me and the camera to get the shot. There was a lot of fog and I added some more in Lightroom to give more depth to the photo
60066 passes through Doncaster working a Rails service from Scunthorpe on 2nd June 2016. The day saw numerous disruptions through the station as a result of the wires being brought down by 91110.

A evening view from just to the North of Interstate 95 and the New Jersey toll plaza in New Jersey of the Hudson River, the George Washington Bridge (GWB), and Washington Heights neighborhood in New York City (NYC). Light trails from traffic visible on lower deck as well as upper deck.

The 105 Freeway meets the 710 Freeway. A tangled knot of concrete and pavement. This is what a majority of the Los Angeles area looks like. I'll be honest, it took a few years to be able to find my way around without my nose buried in a Thomas Guide (as I moved here before the iPhone and Google Maps became ubiquitous). At the height of the golden hour, this hazy sunset begins. The neighborhood of Lynwood, in the upper left, glows under the setting sun.
