The Guggenheim (officially the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum). Founded by the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation in 1937 as the Museum of Non-Objective Painting, it was renamed after it's founder's death in 1952.
The current building was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959) and built in 1959.
Bathtime after a mtb ride in the Surrey Hills in rain and hail (it stayed lovely all day in Sussex apparently).
The afternoon sun was streaming in the window, and I was captivated by the patterns the steam was making. So much so that I fetched my camera and took it in the bath with me. Funnily enough the lens kept steaming up...
So it stopped raining, the result of which was a visit to WWT Llanelli and so many photos to choose from.....
Another play with bubbles, exploring strange new worlds...
Two versions of the same to create a full planet. Inverted in PS.
I really think this is the one for the Treasure Hunt: 54 Planet...Or Is It?
Up at 5.30am to get to Swinley Forest, near Bracknell. Spent the whole day photographing a mountain bike Enduro race (Swinduro).
I was hoping to stay on for the night race to get some light trails and rear curtain flash, but it was running late, and I still have to drive home. Also, the marshalls were debating when the next medical problem would stop the race, and I didn't want to be the cause of that, despite planning to point the flash in the direction the rider was going.
I'd already witnessed one of two stops for shoulder injuries: a collar-bone fracture in a nasty fall, and there was apparently a shoulder dislocation shortly after on the next stage; between them causing a 2 hour delay to proceedings.
This Moon had just risen over the race Hub area, where the podiums were just about to happen for the day race.
At my aunt's funeral, the Pastoral Leader of Guildford Baptist Church , who knew Mary well, spoke of her knowing that on her passing she would be at home with her Lord.
My mind was left spinning with visions of Home. In the evening, I just managed to create this. Not sure it says what I wanted, but I think it says something...
The start of a busy few days, apologies for being absent from the group.

The ripples in the puddle marred the reflection so although it was not clear it was true for that moment in time
A final day of preparation for tonight's Regnum Print Competition, which Storrington are hosting.
Here's some conkers collected yesterday morning; one for each very full barrow-load of horse-chestnut leaves carted down the garden.
A bike ride from Cissbury to Chanctonbury Ring on a glorious day. Not sure what the van was doing up there. Dave heads off as I stop for a quick picture.
An experiment for the FCB's 52 Week Challenge...
Week 39: Cinemagraph
With thanks to PHLEARN for the tutorial.
Start the video, then right click and check Loop for continuous playback. Stop when you feel sick!!
Treasure Hunt 68: Train
The wind has blown this wee tree has been all over the garden, not quite sure where it will end up next !
My first attempt at photographing the Milky Way, with a bit of light painting added into the foreground.
We were approached on the walk to Spyway Barn by a man who'd lost his dog. We did hear Wolfie, and glimpsed him, past this gateway. He then seemed to work out where he was, and set off at pace back to the barn. Dave followed him, and met a rescue team out searching. As we left, we saw a bunch of cars heading back to the road, so we assume he was found.

FCB's 52 Week Challenge Week 40: Light Painting
A trip to Worthing, and this buggy was still looking out to sea, as it had been a week previously. This time it was alone, whereas last time it had a companion...
The story of our week in Langton Matravers... Rain on the (rather dirty) velux windows in our top floor apartment.
A trip up to Alexandra Palace for Foals. I had promised Dave that I wouldn't try and be at the front, wanting to dance and just soak up the atmosphere.
My camera could see a lot better than me though :-(
It was good fun, and I danced and sang as many of the lyrics as I knew.
Dave first saw this band at the same venue as the first support for Bloc Party in December 2007. I saw them in 2009 as 2nd support for Bloc Party at Olympia, from the front of course!
Their music started out full of patterns between the guitars, and they have developed into a full blown indie-rock act, very popular with festival crowds.
A Straight from Camera jpeg with no editing for the FCB 52 Week Challenge Week 25.
Also fits the Treasure Hunt 65: The Blues.
An interesting feature at the reception in my Optician's. You buy a small bottle of glasses cleaning fluid, and come in for free top-ups whenever you need! My glasses have no excuse to get so filthy now, and are much straighter than they've been for months!
Pebbles seemed to be mid-manicure, sadly not true, but probably needed...
This little set was given to me by my son's first girlfriend over 10 years ago I believe, and is still in almost daily use although she is long gone ;-
Managed to brave the wet weather to vote this morning, and got a photo of the queue, then in the evening went to Horsham Library for a session celebrating the end of the Horsham District Monthly Reading Challenge.
There were two authors present, William Shaw here is reading from the first book in a new crime series called Salt Lane.
The other author was Juliet West. I read her first book, Before the Fall, as my January challenge (read a book based on a real person or event).
Both were very happy to chat, and it was an enjoyable evening.
The challenge is moving to Mid Sussex next year, as it was so popular, with some changes of topic. I can strongly recommend it if you like reading, and need to get out of your comfort zone!
I have become a library user again thanks to this, which I spotted on Facebook in February. Libraries need all the support we can offer them.
And the Treasure Hunt is completed with this one!
As my flashguns weren't playing ball on Boxing Day, and torrential rain had stopped other forms of play, I dug out this 1500 piece jigsaw. I was trying to finish it before our son and his family arrived, but that looked unlikely. It had to be carefully moved to the back of the room to avoid 3 year old Oliver "helping". However, my DIL was a great help, as she loves jigsaws, and we finished it later in the evening.
Treasure Hunt 57: Puzzle.
Photos from leading a Photowalk for MyBrighton and Hove Photo Project. I realised that the participants would all know Brighton far better than me, so borrowed Ken Scott's workshop ideas for a photowalk. Thanks Ken!
It was bitterly cold out, but we managed to find some colour and shapes.
Two adjoining litter bins make it as my POTD.
So, I don't usually take photos of my feet, but they happened to be handy when I was working out rear curtain flash and setting up different power levels for two flashes. Hopefully might try some night mtb photography on Saturday if I can last a very long day!
My more normal idea for the POTD is in my photostream!
