A lovely wander around Nymans with Liz, and this caught my eye for the FCB's 52 Week Challenge of Faces: Pareidolia.

Does a 'tree frog' count?!

The Guggenheim (officially the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum). Founded by the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation in 1937 as the Museum of Non-Objective Painting, it was renamed after it's founder's death in 1952.

The current building was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959) and built in 1959.

Went to a beer festival at the local micro-brewery. Within walking distance was a plus, but everyone seemed to be with groups of friends, so it was a rather unsociable affair. Walking home, we spotted some goats and their kids. This nanny goat was suspicious of us. Sadly the fencing prevented me from getting down further, but I thought she would be good for the Treasure Hunt topic of Ears. I might go back and try more of a portrait, but she wasn't feeing cooperative at the time.

Treasure Hunt 26: Ears.

Working on Complementary Colours for a camera club session, found a tutorial suggesting a banana on a purple plate, or change the colours. Couldn't resist that challenge, so here you have a banana on a white dish. Colour changes made in both LR and PS, but I preferred the LR version, so here it is...

Meet Billy, the mascot under the seat of one of two French cyclists who are bike-camping for about a week. They took the ferry from Dunkirk to Dover, and had already visited London, Cambridge and Oxford. We saw them at Peaslake, and lent one a pump as he'd had a puncture. They were neading from Brighton, then Canterbury before returning home.

The other had Bob under his saddle: see my photostream!

Spotted this last week when having new tyres fitted, but I'd already done my POTD, so had to go back.

Apparently it is a Jaguar, didn't bother to check! Needs a lot of work, an ongoing project...

Treasure Hunt 23: Covered Cars

The van's first trip out, and it gets filled up with Alex and Jade's old shed, and Oliver's grown-out-of clothes and toys. They're moving house soon, and no.2 is due in a month, so a bit of help with the move. At least we were able to help before the van's fit-out...

Meant to retake this on arriving home with a wide angle lens, but a catch up of Badminton Horse Trials made me forget. The best of 3 phone shots taken before leaving our son's.

Mannequins spotted in Harstad on an evening stroll.

Treasure Hunt 66: Three of a Kind

I'd been racking my brains for one for the Treasure hunt Zodiac. The only thing I could thing of was Pandora, so I popped into the Horsham branch.

May have fibbed slightly that I was thinking of a Christmas present, and could I please take a photo?

Ta-daa, Zodiac ticked off at last!

I wish I could have found a Ford Zodiac, as it is the luxury version of the Zephyr I remember my Dad had in the 60's.

Treasure Hunt 75: Zodiac

A visit to Guildford, and these students lying on the steps caught my eye.

A visit to Tangmere for the Chichester CC Spring Exhibition, then on to Tangmere Aviation Museum.

I realised there were numerous Roundels for the Treasure Hunt, so here are two on the fuselage and underwing of the Hawker Hunter.

Treasure Hunt 60: Roundel

The Viking Sun stopped off on her way around the world, funny because this week we are commemorating the Battle of Largs in 1263 - maybe the Vikings are here to try again ! This ship was so big it felt like the scene in the movie Independence Day when the spaceships blocked out the light !

The top two show the scale of the problem... Lath and plaster gave up the ghost several years ago, and we have had these holes in our hallway ceiling ever since.

Bottom two show the end of day one.

Luckily it was a dry day for the plasterboarding, but still chilly with the door open a lot of the time!

My BIL wanted to buy these boxes on Ebay, and asked if we could collect for him. A quick trip to Walberton near Arundel on our way to Worthing on Sunday, and they are now cluttering up our dining room ;-)

For a Russian telescope, which he's had for about a year. I look forward to seeing the telescope next time we visit. In the meanwhile, we have a family get-together in a few weeks, so they won't be here for very long.

A day for recovering and doing the food shopping.

As I came out, the skies were fairly dramatic. I Have been meaning to collect some skies, so here's one for the infant collection.

After the morning session of SxPF PDI Championships, I had time to do some food shopping at lunchtime.

This photobooth was just behind the till I was paying at, and the seat gradually glowed brighter, then faded to unlit, catching my eye.

I caught it at a bright moment here.

As children we called it a chute but my children have always called it a slide

A wander around Bodø, I found this safety information by the harbour.

Woken at 6.30am by the moon shining in the window , not the sunrise ! The song Moon River going round and round in my head !

Day 51--Life is full of Infinite Possibilities (and yes, my eyesight is terrible!)

A day of alternating squalls and sudden patches of light. Photographed through the glass.

A trip to Worthing, and this buggy was still looking out to sea, as it had been a week previously. This time it was alone, whereas last time it had a companion...

Our neighbour has hired a JCB to dig out his lake. He was helping on the dumper truck. His garden looks a bit of a mess now!

Today Hector and I walked 3 miles up and down hill, it felt like the north face of the Eiger, but we made it!

Visited Surfbus to see progress on our campervan conversion. Looking good! Hopefully ready mid-August...

After yesterday's Macro Monday bottle caps, I ran out of time and enthusiasm, so a cork on my favourite chopping board it was today, and a quick lesson in Italian viticulture...

"Cavit (which stands for Cantina Viticoltori del Trentino) is a cooperative group that incorporates 10 cooperative wineries in Trentino and their 4500 associated winegrowers.

Today Cavit gathers, inspects and selects the raw material produced by the associated wineries, carrying out controls at every stage, from maturation through to bottling, with complete respect for the environment."
