Josh finishes off the cleaning up after completing the plastering of the tricky angled sections.
Thanks to Graham for the recommendation!
Why do people feed the gulls?
There was a nightmarish crowd around this lady, which thinned out as soon as I turned the camera on her. I have recreated the feel with three shots merged in PS.
Also meant to add to the FCB's 52 Week Challenge: Week 14 "Food for Thought"
I had an image ready for the POTD, but the full moon rose over Eurovision, and I went out to photograph it during the interval. Came back in time to see Madonna perform, wish I hadn't bothered!
From www.space.com:
"The full moon of May, also called the Flower Moon, will occur on May 18, at 5:11 p.m. EDT (2111 GMT). This full moon will also be a "Blue Moon" by one definition of the term — an extra full moon in a season."
The camera club Challenge for February was Still Life, and as I hadn't set up one of my macabre ones for ages, I looked online for inspiration. I kept coming back to Pablo Picasso's Goat Skull Bottle and Candle, but couldn't decide which version I liked.
I decided to post my straight version as my Still Life, but there are three versions from an online editing tool I found called Fotor: GoArt in my photostream. These used their presets called Magic Cube, Cubism and Picaso.
I don't possess a goats skull, and no sheep were harmed yesterday to produce this skull, which was found some months ago.
Flame added from an old Still Life of mine, as I forgot to light the candle, and only realised once I'd tidied everything away.
Starburst added from a Pixel Magic tutorial.
A lovely walk fromj Byworth, through Petworth, and down this sunken lane that was once the main turnpike between Chichester and Petworth.
A visit (with a car-ful from Storrington CC) to Chichester CC's Advanced Workers Exhibition at North Mundham.
Saw Mandy, Graham (and Vanessa) and Martin from the Infinite Possibilities 365 group.
I love looking at feet under the display boards...
A day in Brighton. Beguiling shadows falling on this wall with its graffiti.
Treasure Hunt 61: Shadow Lines
For the Treasure Hunt topic of Town Centre I was trying to capture the traffic around the narrow streets of Petworth.
This may not be the most successful traffic-wise, as I have others that look busier, but I couldn't resist that signature from a car window passing close by.
Liz found out about an exhibition of work by Jon Nicholson which is on until 10th August at Augustus Brandt Antiques. Leave your cheque books at home!
Treasure Hunt 67: Town Centre.
Just after my dentist had taken new XRays, and was checking them, the nurse mentioned that she could see a lovely rainbow. I asked if I could grab a quick photo for my daily diary.
I liked the feeling of looking out at it, so declined their offer of moving the blind.

The Guggenheim (officially the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum). Founded by the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation in 1937 as the Museum of Non-Objective Painting, it was renamed after it's founder's death in 1952.
The current building was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959) and built in 1959.
I received a few Disney Inventor Awards last year for my work on Disney Infinity. I've been meaning to photograph them for a while but I put it off because they are a pain in the butt to shoot;) It doesn't get much worse than combining high index glass with partial sand blasting, engraved lettering, black marble backing and base, and a magnified glass top. It made for a frustrating shoot.
Getting a meal out of the freezer on Monday, I noticed it had a disc of frost and ice on the top. I saved this for another day.
Tried to get a photo across the top, and it sort of worked, although all the ice crystals were melting in front of my eyes.

A walk with Liz across the golf course. We found at least 5 lost balls, not sure what had been happening!
I'd prepared an indoor shot for today's POTD because I had no intention of going out in today's high winds. However by lunchtime, I was sick and tired of Flickr's outages that I took myself off to the Botanic Gardens, Singleton, Swansea. After taking numerous shots of the colourful tulip beds, I turned my attention to a spot of 'bird whispering'. This was what greeted me - a squirrel ( one of approx 8) waiting for a peanut or twenty.
Things are getting a bit hot for St George!
A play with layers in Photoshop on a wet day.
George and the Dragon were photographed today, then combined with a landscape from the Forest of Dean in 2017, and a bonfire in 2018.

A pedal strike on a rock hidden by grass caused an exploration of the mechanics of flight. I picked myself off, measured how far I flew (around 6m), cleared the grass off the rock and went for two more laps of the red trail at Haldon Forest. Realising I hadn't got a photo of the relative positions of rock and bike when landing, I recreated it on the second lap. I suspect I was more in the trail as I wasn't aware of a near miss on the marker post!
A day at Amberley Chalkpits Museum with their Steampunk weekend.
Greg Chapman is a Steampunk juggler. Here he juggles with two knives and a homemade device with two rat-traps.

A 4+ mile walk from and to the Black Horse in Nuthurst. Lovely snack lunch before going home to watch the F1 Highlights.
Also works for the camera club Challenge 2019 for March, Landscape with a Structure...
A bike ride from Whiteways near Arundel. Several circuits of The Denture, arriving from the angled track, we went right several times, but the last time we were going left!
An enjoyable ride, finding one new section of singletrack to play on.

Up to London Stadium for Muse. What a show! Although far up in the stands on my own, I managed to have great fun, dancing with those around me, and singing to my heart's content!
A walk along the coast towards Swanage from Dancing Ledge. The light on the sea was captivating.
We also saw a bird of prey: will add to comments, ID please. It was sort of hovering into the wind, pigeon sized or larger.
I have been thrown sideways by the news that my aunt, who I travelled to Norway with just over a month ago, died suddenly yesterday. She was 3 weeks away from her 90th birthday, and has had an eventful life, but it seems too soon.
She was a wickedly mischievous person, and we had such fun on the Trollfjord, despite both of us going down with colds.
Some mementoes from Mary's years in Thailand...
Went to buy some tulips, and they had half a bunch with a few broken stemmed ones. I got the lot for half price, and promptly used the broken ones for a dreamy shot in a vase from Clovelly last year.
