A window into endless symmetry, where every step frames another world.

Me, myself and I in the sunflower room at the Vincent Van Gogh Alive exhibition at the arena in Poneke Wellington. Of course they're plastic which isn't so cool but still I can't resist a good photo op!

A few years ago, I took a similar shot of the Infinity Bridge in Stockton on Tees and said that I wanted to return in better conditions. We visited tonight and were blessed with reflections.

You’ve seen this before. Well, at least you’ve seen the scene. See flic.kr/p/2oEcyNB to see the seaside scene ;)

As usual, it’s a two-image in-camera multiple exposure using ICMs with horizontal and vertical movements, blended using the camera’s Lighten blend mode.

Also, as usual for this style of capture, I have emphasised the texture and the colour in the processing. The original, also as usual, was fairly bland.

I was attracted to this particular view by the repetition in the beach loungers and umbrellas. At the time I thought it was worth a play…

I find it interesting how different this was from the first. There’s a different blend mode being used (I think anyway) and the movements are more pronounced. It just shows how it’s worth playing about with the variables when taking these ICMs and multiple exposures. You can discover all sorts of different looks. And some even work!

Happy weekend everyone.

Thanks for taking the time to look. I hope you enjoy the image. Happy 100x :)

Running is still an infinite pleasure for me and I like it if there is a medal to collect at the end of the race. This one is from the Amsterdam half marathon a couple of years ago.

Stunning view of the reef and seascape from above the canyon at Abu Galum National park. This protected area covers 400 square kilometers, a landscape highlighted by the meeting of coastal mountains and the azure waters of the Gulf of Aqaba. The coastal region has a unique topography with the mountains near the beaches, and the varied terrains include coral reefs, sea herbs, sea creatures, lagoons, mountains, and a desert environmental system, meaning almost everything in one place.
