If you have a fear of crossing bridges, you'll want to avoid this one, over ten MILES long, (I had to double check that!) and the speed limit is 75 miles per hour. It's the Vasco da Gama bridge in Lisbon, Portugal, and this is a reproduction hanging in my living room. Even the painting is 5 feet wide......

Another peaceful dawn at the lake of cats, close to the place I live. It was a fresh morning... unusual for this time of season. However, the dawn was breathtaking. The first rays of the sun, which was not already raised yet, painted the scenery in purple. That moment I felt infinite peace.

If I was told that I had to choose one city in which to reside for the rest of my life without the opportunity to ever travel again, I would choose Vancouver without hesitation. There are so many reasons for this choice, and they all stem from a peculiar, positive vibe that's been consistent with every visit since I first explored the city in November 2006.

When we stop to take a look at the world around us, what do we see? It is no simple place. Each part is uniquely its own. In the Northern Hemisphere we can experience brutally cold temperatures, high winds, and dangerous wind chills. Other parts of the world experience excessive heat to the point where it becomes dangerous to even go outside. Other parts of the world are so dry that no life form can even exist even on the bacterial level. The earth we live on is incredibly complex and diverse. The more unfathomable reality is that someone made it all and knows every part of it and how it all works together. We have an infinite God who knows no end and His creativity is endless!
