The pic got the name because I just saw the movie and it was SO god. The water might incept from this little brook and end up somewhere on the other side of the globe in some of the huge oceans.
I spent most of the weekend frustratingly trying to work out how to create an incepton style image. After half a dozen flights and a few hours in Photoshop stitching endless shots, this is the best of the bunch. Annoyingly it was the images from the first flight that I used!
It's really tricky to photograph. I'm not sure if the best method is working out the heights and distances before-hand or just eyeing them in on-site?! Work in progress!

i know. this is super terrible. i just spent so much time on it that i couldn't not post it. xD
oh, and for the record, i didn't edit this. well, i edited it, but not in the way you'd think. my house is really small and dark, so i couldn't use my 50mm to get the full body shot i would need in order to do a levitation edit because it was too zoomed in, and i couldn't use my 18mm because that's only f/3.5 and that would have been too dark. so long story short, i just fell back on my bed for two hours (hence the blur). the only edit i did was edit in the picture of my magazine and crop the whole thing.

I'd wanted to build the Inception rotating/zero-G hallway since I saw the movie, but just didn't have the will in me. Then I saw Ochre Jelly's rendition of the same scene and it was just the kick I needed. Many thanks, Iain.
A shot from Carnaby Street and before I show you my final shot, this is like a behind the scenes - a photo of a photo!
