"Trying to get any different perspective" although I had to crawl for a while to get here. And guess what... I did get wet. One of my feet fell down on the water. The worst is I did not care and kept on taking the photo!! Reckless ass...

On the first day of the new year I went to Santa Cruz, California, for sunset at the Twin Lakes State Beach. After sunset I relocated to the Natural Bridges State Beach for some long exposure shots at night. I was pretty dark when I took this shot.
I processed a realistic and a photographic HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them selectively, carefully adjusted the color balance and curves, and desaturated the image. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

This is one of my favourite buildings in Auckland and for some reason there is always a puddle beside it allowing me to create amazing reflections like this. There are countless photo opportunities and different compositions and I feel this image is not complete yet so i'm going to take some more photographs to stitch together to create a more complete image but for now I thought I would post a taster.
I love how the brickwork is so clean and the shapes and lines of the architecture that give it so much character. I spent about 30 minutes at this location getting lost in the wonder of this building, exploring the endless photographic opportunities.
