The weekly theme of 365:the2015edition is introduce yourself, so here I am. Doing the laundry. Which I hate. 2 loads done, only 2 more loads to go. Still, at least I'm not doing it by hand.
ODC: in the middle... of doing laundry..
Shot at a fair this spring in the german town of Hannover - the girl in the middle of all those sheap figures did'nt look up once from her smartphone for at least 5 minutes. She liked my photo of her though afterwards...
Shot taken while walking across The Brooklyn Bridge New York in September I was fascinated by all the wires and the amazing architecture of this wonderful bridge.
For Definitely Dreaming week 26/52 theme of "In the Middle", I decided to go for "In the Middle of a pandemic, Wear a Mask".
Middle of a song,
Middle of a bush,
Middle of the shot.
Robin (Erithacus rubecula) singing to claim territory. He (or she) is sitting 3-4m above a robin friendly nesting box (open front) in our garden.
Taken for Crazy Tuesday 08 Mar 2022 "In The Middle"
This is looking across the middle valley that runs east-west dividing the north from the south. Its a very fertile valley and has been home to farming for centuries.
In the days before motor vehicles there was a very definite cultural divide between the north and the south with quite a marked difference in dialect. This has eroded over time and now there is little difference.
Something fun this week -- while my son was home from university during lockdowns he ran a family d&d game for us and it has helped to get through these crazy times -- this is my Monk character in the middle of two Chulls and battle. Added textures for the slide with Topaz.

Edge of a table casting shadows from a LED light source. The only modifications are, 1. A sheet of A4 paper to cover the speckled tiles, and 2. the iPhone noir filter. This is not a rendering.
Half Lotus Toe balance (Padangustha Padma Utkatasana) brings clarity of mind in the balance and develops flexibility of the hips and ankles.

I had to go out and take another photo of this big brown and very hairy caterpillar. It really seems to like that Basil branch it's been on for the past few days. I think it's face looks like a carved pumpkin today. Perhaps it's going to evolve on there!
After I put this photo on here I checked and the Caterpillar is gone, so I'm glad I took this photo.

Something fun this week -- while my son was home from university during lockdowns and semester off he ran a family d&d game for us and it has helped to get through these crazy times -- this is my Monk character in the middle of two Chulls and battle.
And now that my son is back for winter break, we can continue 😉
The finished product. I love the Maple Leaf, it's the symbol of Canada's Flag and the country I come from.
I started to take pictures here and I was looking to the right, where I thought I will get a reflection, but it didn't look good. Then I was taking pictures in this direction and I was hoping that no people will go while I was taking pictures, but I think one person is okay, it adds more to this picture.
My Thoughts
He stood in the dark night
Staring at me wearily
He seemed to be a shadow cast by a distant light
Covered with hair, I asked him warily
Who it was and why he was here with me
He said nothing but did stare
The mystery man did not speak to me
But did possess a demeanor so rare
I found him strange and frightening
I could feel my throat tightening
My skin sweat and my blood rushed to my feet
Who was this mystery man I chanced to meet?
Then he disappeared into thin air
Without a word said out loud
Yet, for moment he did share
A feeling of being under a dark cloud

Words to the Picture
It’s funny how certain pictures are „acknowledge“ after a period of time. This is also one of the older photos that i have. I saw this yesterday, when i was going through my library and then the idea came to my mind. So i had to do it and hope you see that something that i saw in this picture.
EXPLORED! September 22, 2010 (Highest Rank #177). Explore is really strange, just when you thought your picture didn’t make it, you check through Scout and there it is. What a surprise!
