I've been challenged by my friend Brian (www.flickr.com/photos/bgdlynch/) to post a B&W photo each day for 5 days and in turn to nominate another person each day to do the same! This is my 3rd day and today I nominate my good contact and friend Ari (www.flickr.com/photos/arisan/).
Together with three photo friends (Ari, Monique and Jacky), I visited the retrospective exhibition featuring the work of the female street photographer Vivian Maier (New York, 1926 - 2009) in Foam, the photography museum of Amsterdam. Her impressive oeuvre was only discovered at the end of her life - and then immediately caused a worldwide sensation. The picture in the background is a selfie of her, a reflection in a shop window.

Los colores dan sensación de movimiento. Así el cyan es concéntrico, es decir, permanece cerrado sobre sí mismo indicando profundidad y lejanía. El rojo es estático, fijo y busca equilibrio. El amarillo es excéntrico, tiende a expandirse, a invadir el otro espacio.

The Flickr Lounge-Bang In The Middle
I discovered this hanging from the Red Maple in the backyard. The poor tree isn't doing well and any new growth just dies. I think the fact that the liquid is orange may be Maple Sap.

It's been a little while since I posted a beach that wasn't The Bulb, and I've had this one waiting in the wings since the last time I was in Orange County. It's the Newport Beach boardwalk, fresh after a rain.
I won't be obvious and explain this one too much. You know.

Après avoir travaillé avec des grands noms de la scène chorégraphique européenne (Angelin Prejlocaj, Blanca Li ou encore Sylvain Groud…) et chorégraphié les clips de stars du showbiz dont Madonna, Stromae ou encore Christine and the Queens (excusez du peu …), Marion Motin a créé son crew de danse exclusivement féminin, les Swaggers.
In the Middle est une ode à la femme qui s’affranchit, celle qui ose casser les codes pour être elle-même, sans faux semblant. Pris dans le mouvement et la magnifique chorégraphie de Marion Motin, les 7 danseuses explorent leur liberté et en appellent à leur créativité pour renouveler leur art en l’élevant à un très haut niveau artistique.
