Is this the Moulin d'Arrout?

I couldn't find a single picture of it on the internet...but Wikipedia mentions de remains of an old windmill (Moulin d'Arrout) as one of the buildings in Touget.

Anyway, if I think about a windmill I hear this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyHNuVaZJ-k

My submission for 52frames. Subject: "In the middle".

_______________

I know that I haven't been on as much. To be honest, I've been busy and when I am doing a photo site I'm doing my 52frames challenges.. *which is what this is* or personal photo sessions for clients.

I am aware that I am very behind on comments... and here and there I hop on and I return some.. but I am still active, just not as much as I'd like.

Honestly when I am on the computer (its only in the morning) UNLESS I have a client's photos to take care of, then I will jump on in the evenings. But Juan and I save evenings mostly for OUR time to cuddle and watch movies together.. (Netflix, Hulu & Tubi). We love movies in the evening together. It's kind of like OUR time. And in the day time, I do my errands so I literally am only on the laptop in the mornings.

Anyway, I am doing well. Much happier and at peace with everything. I'm ready for Christmas *finally*. Just have to wrap the gifts. We are going to have a great Christmas this year, and for that I am very grateful.

I hope that you all have a fantastic holiday!

I'll be 35 on New Years Day. *Time flies* Most of my life was spent in addiction.. It feels almost like I woke up and I was 32 (about to be 33). And that kind of sucks. But I'm grateful that I made it out alive. It's just weird, like 'where did all of that time go?'. But I'm here now, and that's ALL that matters.

Grateful every day. Praising God daily. I couldn't have done it without him. Juan and I are both so grateful. Thanks again everryone. God bless and happy holidays!

You know you're in trouble when you find yourself having a conversation with a miniature vase that's just over ½" tall. If it was a full size vase, it would be perfectly normal, of course. :)

For this week's Crazy Tuesday group theme, In the Middle.

Looking down from above, with bronze finial in the middle. Not the exact center, I was on a step ladder, bending over. It's a tall table lamp, but even though I'd put it on the floor, it was still a balancing act to get high enough and bend over to get all of this large shade in the frame.

A shopping centre (mall) near us has amazing architecture all around it.

For Macro Mondays this week I thought an image representing the struggle of the Ukrainian people would be acceptable.

Poor smiley although still smiling is trapped and hurt engulfed in an iron curtain.

Poor Ukrainians!

Bombed, battered, but still fighting for their survival surrounded by large tanks and soldiers from Russian aggressors .... 🔥🆘📢🔫💣😢

"Oh! for heaven's sake go home and leave the innocent children and people of Ukraine alone!!!!!!"

Love & Peace everyone!

I have used a little bouncing smiley super-ball toy to create this image!

I used some blue round stickers adding this colour scheme to enhance the Ukrainian flag colours contrasting with yellow.

I sawed a piece from smiley, from his head, then used a piece of metal wire mesh around him ensuring a point of the mesh entered through his head area.

I then placed him inside a blue bucket of the correct colour and took some macro images.

The yellow smiley super-ball is small only one inch in diameter so therefore falls within the three inch maximum size requirements for Macro Mondays!

Chippie was running around the backyard all morning and stopped for a drink at the birdbath.

As imperceptibly as Grief

The Summer lapsed away—

Too imperceptible at last

To seem like Perfidy—

A Quietness distilled

As Twilight long begun,

Or Nature spending with herself

Sequestered Afternoon—

The Dusk drew earlier in—

The Morning foreign shone—

A courteous, yet harrowing Grace,

As Guest, that would be gone—

And thus, without a Wing

Or service of a Keel

Our Summer made her light escape

Into the Beautiful. .

A huge boulder right in the middle of the trail... you wonder where it came from as this section of the Bruce Trail is not even particularly rocky. 😄 HaPpY CrAzY Tuesday 😄

Crazy Tuesday: In the middle

Looking straight down at (and through) the round glass finial of a table lamp. Underneath is the light bulb. The camera focused on the inside bottom of the finial, where it screws on to the lampshade structure (silver, but the light makes it look gold).

During my walk I knew I would walk passed this tree but I had to keep it centre of the frame ... I think I did!!

19th September 2017:

As hoped the weather was as great as it has been for the last two days, so when I could I took a walk around town.

I stopped off at the lower car park to see what flowers were around, but there wasn't much.

So I checked out behind the trees to see if there was any fungus, none of that either.

But, I noticed this bird feeder in a garden and just liked how it looked.

It was a toss up between this as the tins in the window and not an easy call.

Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites. :O)
