This Year’s Valentine‘s Day is just over now
So this Love Heart must be preserved somehow

A glass Scottish Cross with a piece of bismuth beneath it was frozen. The color in the image is created by bismuth reflecting or refracting the light from a single white LED light.

While thinking ahead of this theme I put some small things into two tiny plastic cups. This one though into a shot glass. This one had the easiest to see the shot. I was excited when this came out of the glass. So that it would not melt rapidly I shot it outside on the deck railing.

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a red day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Macro Mondays is frozen in ice.
So here we go, I found this dinosaur frozen in 100% Canadian ice in my freezer. Of course, you have to be carful when you put small items in your ice cubes … You never know what you may find in your gin and tonic.

Just for the information, my dinosaur is about 3,5 cm tall.

The spring from a pen frozen in an ice cube for Macro Monday's theme: In Ice
4/52 - Signs of Spring
Ein kleiner Zeitmesser zum Waschen der Hände. 30 Sekunden sind ein lange Zeit und im normalen Leben spielt die Länge der Zeit keine Rolle. Einseifen, waschen abspülen eincremen fertig.
Jetzt ist alles anders, einschäumen, Zeitmesser umdrehen waschen. Jeden Finger, die Zwischenräume, die Handflächen – 30 sek., abtrocknen eincremen, erst jetzt sind die Hände Virenfrei!
Ich wünsche Euch einen guten Tag und eine entspannte Woche, liebe Freunde. Seid achtsam und bleibt gesund!!
Ice Age
A small timer for washing your hands. 30 seconds is a long time and in normal life the length of time doesn't matter. Lather, wash, rinse, apply lotion and you're done.
Now everything is different, lather up, turn the timer around and wash. Every finger, the spaces between the fingers, the palms - 30 seconds, dry and apply lotion, only now are the hands free of viruses! I wish you a good day and a relaxed week, dear friends. Be mindful and stay healthy!

Une petite minuterie pour se laver les mains. 30 secondes, c'est long et dans la vie normale, la durée n'a pas d'importance. Savonnez, lavez, rincez, appliquez une lotion et c'est tout.
Maintenant, tout est différent, faites mousser, retournez la minuterie et lavez. Chaque doigt, les espaces entre les doigts, les paumes - 30 sec., sécher et appliquer la crème, ce n'est que maintenant que les mains sont exemptes de virus ! Je vous souhaite une bonne journée et une semaine de détente, chers amis. Soyez attentifs et restez en bonne santé !!!

This theme was more trouble than I expected, nothing seemed to work out the way I thought it should. I froze a few things overnight and started to photograph them, but mostly they looked oh well you know. Here I have butterflies (I don't even know what they are made of, maybe very thin wood) and messed with a torch and then I messed a bit more in LR and tried a few presets. This one I liked the best. The butterflies are 1 1/2 x 1 cm.
