This is taken at home, in the barn across from my house.
In the barn we have 3 big roof lights that produce a serious amount of light. In this picture I just have 1 on and have sat directly below it.
I really like the end result.
my wife hates it.
Happy Caturday - The Supervisor
I went way back in the archives for this shot. A much younger Woody has everything under control. The mouse is pinned to the mouse pad and he is keeping an eye on me. He still has the same collar, but the green has worn off the bell. Happy Caturday!

I especially loved the tiny little hexagon plate, not yet developed into a dendrite, kind of 'nestled in the arms' of a fully formed dendrite snowflake.
... of spring/summer!
Sadly, my camera collected a lot of dust last year, and the few images I took are still mostly unprocessed. I took this photo in July, and it wasn't what I was intending, as typically the very interesting bee that I was trying to photograph flew out of the harebell and off into the distance. I liked the dreamy feel of the image though and, for me, it sums up happy days trying to photograph bugs that usually don't cooperate.

This very old cemetery just north of Henry,IL. seems to have been forgotten. In the woods outside a small, crudely walled in section, are headstones and markers buried in debris, laying against trees, and just plain desecrated.Almost all date from the mid to late 1800's.It is a tragic and kind of puzzling situation that deserves attention...and correcting.
This is not what I call eternal rest....
