Muscari in my garden, which did not bloom last year, has bloomed this year. This is still a baby Muscari, so it may grow. Other baby Muscari, little less than 1 cm long, were also waiting under the leaves.
It was pouring rain today, but thanks to this Muscari, I felt better.
Lost in flow,
with thoughts swirling and streaming --
over, under, and around the rocks.
Lost in time,
as shadows creep ever so closer to the cackling night.
Lost in silence,
to the symphony of rushing water as the world fades away.
Found once more,
the harmonies of mother nature shining her dappled light.
Alone in the lower cascades of Vogel State Park in North Georgia. On this day, the water was flowing like long silvery hair. Wishing everyone a great day ahead! Thanks for the favs and kind words. They are much appreciated!
The Matterhorn (4,478 m /14,692 ft) and Switzerland are inseparably linked to each other. The pyramid shaped colossus of a mountain, which is very difficult to climb, is said to be the most-photographed mountain in the world.

Piranga rubra
(Summer tanager / Piranga abejera)
The only completely red bird in North America, the strawberry-colored male Summer Tanager is an eye-catching sight against the green leaves of the forest canopy. The mustard-yellow female is harder to spot, though both sexes have a very distinctive chuckling call note. Fairly common during the summer, these birds migrate as far as the middle of South America each winter.

Sedge warbler in the reeds singing his spring song
The light in the back of the sedge warbler is in fact the sun reflected in the front window of a car.
It was fun to find a good spot in this river to take some photos, by stepping from one rock onto another. The river or mountain stream is the Rein da Medel, which flows from the Lukmanierpass to join the Rhine at Disentis.
It was a lovely spot for a picnic!

Seen in our back garden this afternoon. There were two of them flitting around and they were difficult to photograph as they didn't stop for very long.

Always In My Thoughts. You are always in my thoughts. ... You are always in my thoughts, always in my heart, always part of me. My love, not only have you touched my mind so I only think of you; but you've touched my heart in a way that I will never forget you♥♥♥

LuLu was lying still and just gazing out the window in our bedroom. Ever so quietly she wandered over to her bed surrounded by her closest stuffed animal friends. My wife Allison took this heart warming photo. It may look staged but I assure you it is not. LuLu is quite a character and this particular moment is one of peace and quiet that we will savor for a long time. Thanks for viewing my photos. Gratitude and Kindness play a large part in our lives and this moment with LuLu is yet another example of what’s important in our lives,
When I look at the world, I would rather say it is not in order.

Macro Mondays: In a bottle
Glass bottle of red cordial, photographed against a backdrop of autumn leaves.
In 2015 we went to the Niue Island in the Pacific Ocean for the first time. The island is small, you can literally drive around it in 30 minutes. But what is unique is that just around 50 m from the shore the ocean goes very deep - up to 300 m. Therefore you can see whales and dolphins a lot - right from the window of you motel, or from a restaurant deck. We went to swim with dolphins and it was a remarkable experience. The picture is from my small Canon camera - therefore not extremely high quality.
