This Series is made possible thru a generous anonymous grant honoring Cesar L. Alvarez.
Cesar is the past Chief Executive Officer and current Chairman of Greenberg Traurig, LLP. During his 13 year tenure as CEO, which began in 1997, he led the firm to become one of the Top 10 law firms in the United States by the leading its growth from 325 lawyers in eight offices to approximately 1850 attorneys in more than 36 locations in the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Under Cesar’s leadership and with the support of his partners, the firm was recognized as the fastest-growing law firm in the United States. Cesar was the only Hispanic to lead a Top 10 law firm in the United States. At the age of 13, Cesar immigrated from Cuba with his family to escape communism. After graduating from the University of Florida in 1972 with his Bachelor of Science, Master of Business Administration, and Juris Doctor, he joined Greenberg Traurig as its 13th lawyer. Before taking the helm as CEO, Cesar practiced securities, corporate and international law for more than 25 years. He has been recognized nationally and in his community for his professional, business and charitable leadership. Cesar has been honored as one of the "100 Most Influential Lawyers in America" by The National Law Journal in 1997, 2000, and 2006, as one of the top most powerful Hispanics by PODER's Power Issue, and among "The 25 Best Latinos in Business," Hispanic Magazine's Power Issue. He also has been honored with the Chambers and Partners’ "Lifetime Achievement" Award, American Bar Association’s "Spirit of Excellence" Award, and The Florida Bar’s “President’s Award of Merit.” He serves on the boards of Florida International University, University of Miami School of Law Visiting Committee, and Chairs the Florida International University College of Law Dean’s Advisory Council.
This is a page from the Adventure in Manhood booklet you receive when you go on an Adventure in Manhood-sponsored camping trip.
I DID NOT GO ON THIS TRIP BUT I KNOW SOMEONE WHO HAS.
What this page says: If you didn't feel ashamed already because of your Same-Sex Attraction, you should feel ashamed now.
One of the funniest excerpts from this booklet (of which I didn't take a picture) is the rules page: Participants are not allowed to masturbate on the trip.
This was from another photo shoot of Jo playing with fire. We decided to go around campus and take some shots and the various buildings (until security politely told us to go away!). This building was XFI (Exeter Finance) and the photo was taken while I followed Jo over to the building.
The idea here was to get a motion shot while maintaining as much clarity on the subject as possible.

Then we are going on to the stunning Halong Bay where we will take a three-day cruise, followed by a crazy journey to Ninh Binh and the unique Tam Coc.
We will discover Ho Chi Minh City, the Mekong Delta and the hill-tribes of Sapa.

Back in April 2007 is was announced that a new tram bridge would be constructed at Spencer Dock: "A bridge almost as wide as it is long will be built across the Royal Canal at Spencer Dock, in the Dublin Docklands, to carry the planned Luas line from Connolly Station to the Point."
The bridge located on Mayor Street and designed by London-based architects Future Systems and Arup Engineers is now the centrepiece of a linear park along the canal and is located near the major road bridge over the River Liffey by Santiago Calatrava.
Osechi I had last time in Japan was on the new year's day 1994.
Since then I hadn't got any chance to have this in UK.
As Japanese, Osechi is very important for starting a new year.
All foods in Osechi have meanings.
They all are for good luck.
See this for more infomation.

Built in 1878 with the designs of Midwestern architect John C. Cochrane, the old Lake County Courthouse has been converted into a mall in the center square of Crown Point. It is similar to Cochrane's courthouse in Saline County, Missouri.
In 1909 and 1928 additions were made to it on the north and south sides. In 1973 the building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.

This year’s 12 Asia Foundation Development Fellows traveled to Singapore and Nepal in March, and in the United States in September where they participated in forums and met with local thought leaders. The program, now in its second year, recognizes and empowers a dynamic community of rising young Asian leaders in their pursuit of creative solutions to the region’s most critical development challenges.
Valentine, the Nubian goat, was put in a pen by herself yesterday. This will be the "first delivery" for this young lady. Valentine was the only goat last year to not get pregnant and I was very glad.
Val had a very difficult time when she was born back on February 12, 2005. She was born in a little barn to her Mama, Clarice, on a very very cold winter day. She was not discovered until approximately 5-6 hours later.......standing shivering in one side of the barn alone. Her Mama did not like her or know what to do.
Valentine almost died that night. Her head hung sideways and her tongue hung out like a dead deer. A quick dash to an all night open Walmart...a good distance away....to buy some Karo syrup, Gerber baby bottles and Gerber nipples and a lot of praying saved Val. It truly was touch and go for the first couple of days.
She has grown into a very strong and quite beautiful goat. Her first year or so she would pick up every little thing going around. She had pink eye a few times.....a trip to the vet for medicine. She had diarrhea quite a few times....another trip to the vet for Albon and Corrid liquid medicine.. measured and down her throat. A skin irritation.....shots, just in case, for infection....then back home from the vet. The vet staff soon knew her by name....or called her the cute little goat with the "skunk behind"...
Now Valentine is about to become a Mother herself. I have feared this day forever. I just want it to be done and over with and all having gone well. As of tonight.....still no baby....but her udders were so much fuller tonight than yesterday.
The guys think she will be the next to deliver......I don't know. Her "Aunt Bambi" sure is HUGE......
I guess we'll just have to wait and see and pray all goes well.
