Dinner at Inle Princess Resort, Inle Lake. I HAD to put on a photo of this; the food we had in Burma was excellent throughout, but this was exceptional, one of the nicest things I've EVER eaten - steamed chicken in coconut milk in banana leaves. I'm drooling just thinking about it!

Quite a bit of Photoshop to remove skin issues and add "some fill." Also added Glam Glow from WizWow's DVD plus a little sharpening.
Lighting: An umbrella to my right, about 2ft above model and another filling the background to mid-grey. No fill card as she'd turned away from the set position.
Update: I've cloned the offending hairs out, as mentioned by comments.
This year, United Way, conducted three Point-in-Time (PIT) training's to train 75+ volunteers and assemble 800 “Thank You” packages that were given to people who were interviewed in appreciation for their time and participation in interviews.
Over 1000 volunteers participated in this years count, they set off from five deployment centers across the county.
The data collected from the PIT will be instrumental in advocating for and ensuring we have the right housing options and services to #endHomelessnessOC
In the lab, resources are being developed to enhance the resilience of the emerging bioenergy seed oil crop, penny cress, to climate change. Specifically, Alyssa Carrell is focused on utilizing microbes to increase penny cress's ability to withstand higher temperatures. This ties into other work to employ microbiomes to extend plant phenotypes to enhance their resilience to climate change.

Advocates in NYC kicked off a secondary campaign against Pandora Jewelry for its ties to Ahold Delhaize, a grocery conglomerate profiting off of severe animal cruelty--they continue to allow pigs and hens to be intensively confined in small cages for their entire lives. Pandora and Ahold Delhaize share a board member, Jan Zijderveld.
Under Mr. Zijderveld's poor leadership, Ahold continues to source from farms that keep animals in these tiny cages. Now, Pandora is under fire for its ties to Ahold Delhaize. Any business affiliates of Ahold Delhaize board members, like Pandora, will be protested until Ahold makes a meaningful commitment to ban these cages.
The first rays of morning were reflecting off the belly of this older 747, a recently retired JAL plane, judging by the fresh white paint on the tail. We tucked in as close as we dared, but the wake caused too much buffeting. I don't think they ever knew we were there...
