2nd day in a row of beautiful sunsets just outside my window. Too bad I couldn't go out to go to the beach and have some nice rocky foregrounds :( some skylight filters used + sharpening and contrast. this is the last day of the long weekend (Chinese New Year). Tried a vertorama on this one but failed miserably ... I need more practice with challenging horizons :s anyway, I'm keeping the files for now.
Happy St. Patrick's Day! I wore green socks because apparently I don't own a green shirt. Layla woke up to see that her trap failed... and that our milk is now green.
I didn't do much today but watch my cousins and take care of a sick Layla.
my hand is starting to feel uncomfortable in my brace. I can't wait until the 28th and than hopefully I'll be out of a brace and won't get another one.

Several female saints in a row - to be identified by their attributes. Who can you spot?
My first "proper" family portrait shoot. They were fantastic and so cooperative I couldn't believe my luck - but I did know them - they're friends. Even the dog did everything I said!
Variations below - two different black and white conversions - which do you prefer?
Day 339 of my 365 project.
Well, two days in a row of northern flickers. This one looks plumped up for winter.
I don't know if I'll have anymore time today to take, process and post a photo of the day. So this one is kind of my safety shot.
A couple of mopeds are parked in an area near a busy corner packed with bistros, cafes, and a few ethnic restaurants (mostly Greek, Lebanese, and Italian).

Last of three images in a row of a fountain in one of the lakes at Leisure World, taken handheld with a 400mm telephoto lens. The first image shows water drops caught fairly sharp and appears macro but it it not. The second image shows more of a texture in the spray. This image shows the whole fountain. I like this image in a large or largest view for the contrast of texture. The upper portion of the spray appears to be grain in the photo, but a look at the focus on the metal ring with the water splashing there shows more clarity and then the water in the foreground shows smooth color.
Spied these on our walk this morning. Lovely early morning warm light. I love it and so do the plants and ants as it gives them a bit of warmth. These flowers are in a shady position so they would stay nice and fresh throughout the day!!!
Thanks to Pancy98 for her identification of this plant, named Thunbergia Grandiflora
