A training of trainers of a South Sudan’s soon-to-be unified army concluded today, 4 October, with a graduation ceremony at the Military Training Centre in Luri near Juba.
The event marks a significant step forward for the implementation of the country’s revitalized peace agreement, signed in September last year.
Lieutenant General Shailesh Tinaikar, Force Commander of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan, described the project of training the nation’s unified forces as one with “tremendous implications for national integrity and security”. He called the graduating instructors “pioneers” with a “huge responsibility” to carry after having received just ten days of training.
“Whatever you do, however you act, is going to affect the soldiers who you train, so I implore you to be conscious of your actions, because you set the trend of the forces of South Sudan,” the Force Commander said.
Lieutenant General Tinaikar also stressed the importance of looking forward rather than backward.
“You have to forget your past, from where you come and your past affiliations, to work together for your young nation, for the state of South Sudan,” he said, reiterating his faith in the diligence and capacity of the instructors to train the unified forces properly.
A lack of qualified trainers has been slowing down the capacity building of units of the united armed forces in 35 cantonment sites across the country, making the readiness of instructors such a vital sign of progress.
To enable the establishment of a Transitional Government of National Unity on 12 November, the few hundred graduates will need to capacitate some 83,000 soldiers, the troops being merged from the South Sudan People’s Defence Forces and the Sudan People’s Liberation Army in Opposition.

Dr. panda has innovated/invented more than 10,000 (ten thousand) teaching aids and different innovations and he has more than 30,000 (Thirty thousand) ideas to make scientific and mathematical models.
His creations are very essential guide for school and college science exhibitions, innovative learning and play way method for the teachers and students, science activists, innovators, craftsmen, farmers, masons, physically challenged persons, common men, entrepreneurs and industrialists.
He is popularizing science through song, innovative demonstrations and motivational speech since 1990 in different parts of Odisha state without taking any fees.
Dr. Panda is an extreme motivational speaker in science and possess magical scientific demonstration and a crowd puller.
Innovator Mihir Kumar Panda loves nature and in his agricultural farm he does not uses the chemicals , fertilizers and pesticides. In his farm even the smallest creatures like snakes, caterpillar, white ants, worms ,vermies are in peace and are managed successfully not to do harm.
Dr. Panda is an Educationist, an environmentalist, a poet for science popularization, a good orator, a best resource person to train others in specific field of science and engineering.
The uniqueness of Simple Innovation and scientific activities and achievements ofDr. Panda can not be assessed without visiting his laboratory which is a living wonder in the realm of science.
From a small cake cutter to mechanical scissor, from a play pump to rickshaw operated food grain spreader and from a village refrigerator to a multi-purpose machine, thousands of such inventions and innovations are proof of Dr. Panda's brilliance.
From a tube well operated washing machine to weight sensitive food grain separator, from a password protected wardrobe to automatic screen, from a Dual face fan to electricity producing fan are example of few thousands of innovations and inventions of Mihir Kumar Panda.
Dr.Mihir Kumar Panda though bestowed to a popular name as Einstein of Odisha is obliviously treated as Thomas Alva Edison of India.
Dr. Panda's residential house also resembles a museum with scientific innovations of different shapes and sizes stacked in every nook and cranny which proves his scientific involvement in personal life.
Innovator Panda believes that , the best thing a child can do with a toy to break it. he also believes that by Educating child in his/her choice subject/ passion a progressive nation can be built.
The shelf made scientist Dr. Panda believes that Education is a life long process whose scope is far greater than school curriculum. The moulding of models/ innovations done by hand always better than the things heard and the facts incorporated in the books.
With no agricultural background, Dr. Panda has developed unique natural bonsai in his Vijnana Bana Ashram which also shows path for earning just by uprooting and nurturing the plants which are found to be small and thumb in nature.
Dr. Panda's Scientific Endeavour and research is no doubt praise worthy. One cannot but believe his dedicated effort in simple innovation laboratory.
Social service, innovation/ inventions, writing, free technology to students for preparation of science exhibition projects, free technology to common men for their sustainability, preparation of big natural bonsai, technology for entrepreneurs and industrialists for innovative item are few works of Mihir Kumar Panda after his Government service.
. To overcome the difficulties of science and math, explanation in classes, innovator Panda has created few thousands of educational, societal and scientific innovations which helps teachers and students of the country and abroad.

El Ministro de Transportes y Comunicaciones, José Gallardo Ku, recibió del Gobierno del Japón equipos destinados a implementar un sistema de prevención de desastres que permitirá a la población recibir información rápida, precisa y estable sobre emergencias.
El sistema -que utilizará el estándar de Televisión Digital Terrestre japonés brasileño ISDB-T, que viene siendo implementado en el Perú- podría utilizarse en caso de que el Fenómeno El Niño afecte a alguna de las localidades beneficiadas.
El "Proyecto para el Mejoramiento del equipamiento para la Gestión del Riesgo de Desastres en la República del Perú" comprende la donación e implementación de ocho sistemas de observación de mareas; ocho sistemas EWBS (Emergency Warning Broadcasting System), conformados por estaciones de televisión digital terrestre-TDT con capacidad para transmitir la señal EWBS; y 15 receptores de TDT con capacidad de recibir esa señal.
El Instituto Nacional de Defensa Civil (INDECI) es el responsable de emitir señal la alerta, la cual llega al Instituto Nacional de Radio y Televisión (IRTP), que la difunde a los hogares de la población de las localidades beneficiarias, utilizando el sistema EWBS (a través de la señal de televisión digital).
Las estaciones de TDT con EWBS -que estarán ubicadas en Arequipa (Arequipa, 1; Camaná, 3), Ica (Pisco, 1), La Libertad (Trujillo, 4), Lima (Lima, 1; Cañete, 1), Moquegua (Ilo, 4)- no solo podrán transmitir alertas por tsunami, sino también sobre diversos tipos de desastres, como inundaciones, deslizamientos, incendios, entre otros.
Actualmente en el Perú la información de desastres se tramite vía telefónica, radial o por email, siendo alta la probabilidad de interrupción en la comunicación cuando ocurre un desastre de gran magnitud.
"La introducción de este nuevo Sistema EWBS hará posible que la población reciba información más rápida, precisa y estable sobre emergencias por desastres, lo que contribuirá a salvar vidas y reducir daños", señaló Gallardo Ku.
El Ministro Gallardo y el Viceministro de Comunicaciones del Japón, Yasuo Sakamoto, destacaron la importancia del fortalecimiento de la cooperación entre ambos países en el campo de la televisión digital, así como ampliar la relación de cooperación en el sector de las tecnologías de la información y comunicación (TIC).
La entrega de equipos se realizó en el marco de la inauguración del Seminario Internacional en materia de Televisión Digital Terrestre (TDT) y Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicaciones (TIC), que se realizará los días 14 y 15 de enero de 2016 en Lima y en el que participarán delegados de 15 empresas japonesas.

*El día de hoy, Enrique Vega, candidato del PAN a la* Presidencia Municipal
por El Marqués, y Jorge Lomelí, candidato a diputado local por el XII
Distrito, realizaron un recorrido por la comunidad de El Colorado.
Ahí la Sra. Zenaida Córdoba, le señaló la necesidad de continuar con la
pavimentación la calle “Armando Paredes”, una de las principales del lugar.
“Nosotros vimos todo lo que trabajó Don Enrique en su anterior
administración, ahora con el PRI no se ha visto adelanto alguno” aseveró la
Sra. Córdoba. **
La encargada de una estancia infantil, Erika Vega, coincidió en la
importancia de pavimentar las calles principales de El Colorado. Por otro
lado, agradeció el apoyo que recibieron por parte de Enrique Vega, para
beneficio de su Estancia, como materiales didácticos. Ahora, señaló que
esperan de nuevo el apoyo del candidato panista para poder ampliar la
estancia y dar servicio a 20 niños más.
Enrique Vega aseveró que en efecto, en su anterior administración, se
realizaron varias obras importantes como pavimentación, pero que habrá que
retomar otros proyectos, como ampliar la Unidad Deportiva, acondicionar la
cancha para los torneos de futbol.
“*El reclamo de la gente se puede ver, en que no ha habido continuidad en
los proyectos, por esto es que crearemos el Instituto de Planeación
Municipal, para garantizar la continuidad en los proyectos , sin importar
la Administración Municipal que se encuentre, y sobre todo que en este
Instituto haya participación de la sociedad*”, les aseguró el candidato a
los habitantes de El Colorado.

El Ministro de Transportes y Comunicaciones, José Gallardo Ku, recibió del Gobierno del Japón equipos destinados a implementar un sistema de prevención de desastres que permitirá a la población recibir información rápida, precisa y estable sobre emergencias.
El sistema -que utilizará el estándar de Televisión Digital Terrestre japonés brasileño ISDB-T, que viene siendo implementado en el Perú- podría utilizarse en caso de que el Fenómeno El Niño afecte a alguna de las localidades beneficiadas.
El "Proyecto para el Mejoramiento del equipamiento para la Gestión del Riesgo de Desastres en la República del Perú" comprende la donación e implementación de ocho sistemas de observación de mareas; ocho sistemas EWBS (Emergency Warning Broadcasting System), conformados por estaciones de televisión digital terrestre-TDT con capacidad para transmitir la señal EWBS; y 15 receptores de TDT con capacidad de recibir esa señal.
El Instituto Nacional de Defensa Civil (INDECI) es el responsable de emitir señal la alerta, la cual llega al Instituto Nacional de Radio y Televisión (IRTP), que la difunde a los hogares de la población de las localidades beneficiarias, utilizando el sistema EWBS (a través de la señal de televisión digital).
Las estaciones de TDT con EWBS -que estarán ubicadas en Arequipa (Arequipa, 1; Camaná, 3), Ica (Pisco, 1), La Libertad (Trujillo, 4), Lima (Lima, 1; Cañete, 1), Moquegua (Ilo, 4)- no solo podrán transmitir alertas por tsunami, sino también sobre diversos tipos de desastres, como inundaciones, deslizamientos, incendios, entre otros.
Actualmente en el Perú la información de desastres se tramite vía telefónica, radial o por email, siendo alta la probabilidad de interrupción en la comunicación cuando ocurre un desastre de gran magnitud.
"La introducción de este nuevo Sistema EWBS hará posible que la población reciba información más rápida, precisa y estable sobre emergencias por desastres, lo que contribuirá a salvar vidas y reducir daños", señaló Gallardo Ku.
El Ministro Gallardo y el Viceministro de Comunicaciones del Japón, Yasuo Sakamoto, destacaron la importancia del fortalecimiento de la cooperación entre ambos países en el campo de la televisión digital, así como ampliar la relación de cooperación en el sector de las tecnologías de la información y comunicación (TIC).
La entrega de equipos se realizó en el marco de la inauguración del Seminario Internacional en materia de Televisión Digital Terrestre (TDT) y Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicaciones (TIC), que se realizará los días 14 y 15 de enero de 2016 en Lima y en el que participarán delegados de 15 empresas japonesas.

En el marco de la reunión para el cumplimiento de los compromisos derivados de la 12° del GORE Ejecutivo, el viceministro de Mype e Industria, José Salardi, señaló que el gobierno, a través del Ministerio de la Producción (Produce), impulsará el desarrollo de las cadenas productivas de pesca, acuicultura, agroindustria y forestal en Loreto, a través de un trabajo articulado con las autoridades regionales.
En ese sentido, indicó que la reunión de los equipos técnicos de su sector y del gobierno regional, ha dado como resultado una serie de acuerdos que contribuirán para que Loreto se convierta en una región productiva en base a sus potencialidades. "Hemos identificado que estamos muy alineados en muchas intervenciones, incluso en aquellas que ya tenemos en camino", destacó.
Al respecto, Salardi precisó que al cierre del primer semestre estarán implementados al 100 % el CITE Forestal y el CITE Productivo Maynas. "Es una inversión de 22 millones de soles que ha realizado Produce a través del ITP. Con lo cual se ha puesto en valor estas infraestructuras importantes, para poder dar todo apoyo y soporte a las cadenas productivas de pesca, acuicultura y agroindustrias".
Manifestó que para el presente año proyectan prestar un mínimo de 1200 servicios de innovación y transferencia tecnológica, que ayudará a fortalecer las capacidades e innovar a las diferentes industrias de esta región.
Asimismo, informó que otros de los compromisos es la pronta apertura del Centro de Desarrollo Empresarial del programa “Tu Empresa”, para promover la formalización de 400 nuevas unidades de negocio.
De otro lado, Salardi indicó que el sector espera cerrar el año inaugurando el Gran Mercado de Belén. "Se está avanzando a un nivel importante. El proyecto está a más de 50% de ejecución y en el presupuesto de este año se han incluido 50 millones de soles para su culminación", apuntó.
Acciones en pesca y acuicultura
De otro lado, el viceministro Salardi informó que, a través del FONDEPES, Produce iniciará la construcción del primer desembarcadero pesquero artesanal de la Amazonia “La Punchana”, para lo cual se ha destinado una inversión de hasta S/ 22 000 000.
Asimismo, este fondo realizará un proyecto piloto para la implementación de aislamiento térmico en embarcaciones pesqueras artesanales para el adecuado transporte de los productos hidrobiológicos. "Con esta actividad, se espera incrementar los fondos para créditos destinados a los pescadores artesanales y acuicultores de la región hasta por un valor de S/ 250 000", destacó.
Otro de los acuerdos es la implementación de mejoras en los servicios del Centro Acuícola Nuevo Horizonte, por un valor de hasta S/ 14 000 000, con ello se mejorarán los servicios de producción y distribución de alevinos para la ampliación de la frontera acuícola, así como la capacitación operativa especializada a los productores de la Región.
Mercado de Putumayo
Más tarde, el viceministro Salardi hizo entrega oficial al alcalde provincial de Putumayo, Humberto Fuentes, del expediente técnico aprobado para la ejecución del proyecto "Mejoramiento del Mercado Municipal de la Ciudad de San Antonio del Estrecho".
Esta importante acción del gobierno en una ciudad de frontera con Colombia, cuenta con una inversión de más de 4 millones de soles y beneficiará a más de 3000 habitantes.
Las obras se realizarán en un terreno de 1410 m2, donde se implementarán 40 puestos de comercio, con una moderna infraestructura e innovaciones que garantizarán la alta calidad de los productos.

Clear and abundant visuals are crucial to Preschool Specially Designed Instruction.
How often is something exactly what it purports to be? Not an easy question to answer, but Glenwood Community School District has nailed it by embracing, embedding, and implementing Specially Designed Instruction into their preschool curriculum. Students are receiving exactly what the name implies, Specially Designed Instruction (SDI), aimed at meeting the educational needs of each individual student.
Some characteristics of Preschool SDI instruction include intentionality, abundant visuals, the amount of instruction, peer mediated interventions, and peer prompting. Successful SDI requires a collaborative, team approach for problem solving. A host of educational staff get together at least once a month, to discuss student progress based on the data recorded daily by the preschool teacher. They look to see if a goal is being worked on or if an instructional change is needed.
All five preschool teachers and classrooms in the district are on board with integration and delivery of SDI within the school day. All are part of a usability grant in various stages of execution (years one through four). Using specific criteria, early childhood consultants at Area Education Agencies (AEAs) recommended the best sites for grant funds to support the SDI work and provide professional development based on teacher feedback.

El día de ayer en un importante evento, el alcalde del municipio de Galeana, Héctor Alan Arreola Lozano, encabezó diversas acciones en beneficio de la comunidad de la colonia sustentable “San Jerónimo”.
En su mensaje el alcalde Héctor Alan Arreola Lozano, hizo mención de los avances que ha tenido la colonia desde que inició el proyecto de colonia sustentable, haciendo énfasis en que no podía faltar abatir el rezago educativo de los habitantes de la colonia, por lo cual agradeció al ICHEA y a su coordinador el Ing. Jesús José Becerra, por apoyar en este rubro y visitar e identificar las personas que requieren concluir su educación básica.
“En la administración ya pusimos el ejemplo e invitamos a los trabajadores a que concluyan sus estudios básicos, algunos ya terminaron y otros están a punto de concluir, por lo cual les invitamos a sumarse en esta importante campaña que realiza el gobierno del Republica, ya que la educación nos da la llave para salir adelante en nuestras encomiendas”, detalló el alcalde.
“Quiero agradecer al Lic. en Enfermería, Diego Damián Muñoz y a los médicos del Centro de Salud, quienes nos acompañan en este importante evento, ya que realizan la feria de la salud en esta colonia, proporcionándoles información acerca de la lactancia, el ébola y el suicido, así como vacunas para la influenza, vacunas antirrábicas y detección de diabetes e hipertensión, gracias al sector salud por su apoyo”, mencionó.
“En San Jerónimo estamos avanzando considerablemente en educación, salud e infraestructura, por lo cual agradezco al gobernador del estado Cesar Duarte Jáquez, por el apoyo brindado a nuestro municipio”, detalló el alcalde Alan Arreola.
Por su parte el coordinador de la zona 07 del ICHEA, el Ing. Jesús José Becerra Gutiérrez, mencionó la importancia de que la comunidad participe en dicha campaña de alfabetización, ya que el Presidente de la Republica, Enrique Peña Nieto, dio inicio a esta campaña con la finalidad de abatir el analfabetismo en el país; así como, contribuir para mejorar las condiciones y oportunidades de la población mediante la educación.
Asimismo, mencionó que durante el recorrido que realizaron los promotores del ICHEA en la colonia, detectaron a 95 personas que no han concluido su educación básica y se interesaron en terminan sus estudios a través del ICHEA, tambien agradeció el interés y colaboración del alcalde Héctor Alan Arreola Lozano, para que el ICHEA realice diversas acciones en este tema en el municipio de Galeana.
Posteriormente el alcalde y el coordinador del ICHEA, dieron el banderazo de arranque de la Campaña Nacional de Alfabetización y abatimiento del rezago educativo que realiza el ICHEA en coordinación con el gobierno municipal de Galeana.
Una vez iniciada dicha campaña, el alcalde acompañado de su esposa, la primera dama Brenda García de Arreola, el Síndico Isaías Domínguez Tarango, Regidores y funcionarios municipales, realizó un recorrido casa por casa para entregar apoyos consistentes en cobijas, despensas y colchonetas que envió el gobernador del Estado con motivo de la temporada invernal.
Con el fin de promover e implementar el desarrollo de actividades conjuntas para la interacción y cooperación en investigación básica y aplicada, entre CONICYT y el CONCYTEC, durante 2017 se firmó acuerdo de cooperación entre ambas instituciones, estableciendo un plan de acción, el cual contempla la organización de talleres bilaterales y convocatorias conjuntas.
Objetivo:
Para dar cumplimiento al Plan de Acción acordado por ambas instituciones, en junio de 2018 se realizó el primer taller científico bilateral en Lima, Perú, en las áreas temáticas de Agricultura y Biotecnología.
El segundo ciclo de talleres se realizará en CONICYT, los días lunes 10 y martes 11 de diciembre, de 09:00 a 17:00 horas, en las áreas de Oceanografía y Desastres Naturales, en las dependencias de CONICYT.
El propósito específico de esta actividad es promover las redes de investigadores chilenos con sus contrapartes científicas del Perú. Este taller abordará dos áreas prioritarias para ambos países con gran potencial para la cooperación mutua. Los resultados de esta actividad tienen como objetivo definir líneas de investigación para una próxima convocatoria conjunta entre ambas instituciones.
A training of trainers of a South Sudan’s soon-to-be unified army concluded today, 4 October, with a graduation ceremony at the Military Training Centre in Luri near Juba.
The event marks a significant step forward for the implementation of the country’s revitalized peace agreement, signed in September last year.
Lieutenant General Shailesh Tinaikar, Force Commander of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan, described the project of training the nation’s unified forces as one with “tremendous implications for national integrity and security”. He called the graduating instructors “pioneers” with a “huge responsibility” to carry after having received just ten days of training.
“Whatever you do, however you act, is going to affect the soldiers who you train, so I implore you to be conscious of your actions, because you set the trend of the forces of South Sudan,” the Force Commander said.
Lieutenant General Tinaikar also stressed the importance of looking forward rather than backward.
“You have to forget your past, from where you come and your past affiliations, to work together for your young nation, for the state of South Sudan,” he said, reiterating his faith in the diligence and capacity of the instructors to train the unified forces properly.
A lack of qualified trainers has been slowing down the capacity building of units of the united armed forces in 35 cantonment sites across the country, making the readiness of instructors such a vital sign of progress.
To enable the establishment of a Transitional Government of National Unity on 12 November, the few hundred graduates will need to capacitate some 83,000 soldiers, the troops being merged from the South Sudan People’s Defence Forces and the Sudan People’s Liberation Army in Opposition.

The objective of the workshop is to facilitate discussions between the Ministry of Labour and Employment and States on:
-Experiences in implementation of the Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act and Inter-State Migrant Workmen Act; and
-Way forward for strengthening the provisions of the Act and other institutional mechanisms for prevention and reducing vulnerability to bondage.

Ambassador David Johnson will lead the U.S. delegation to the Human Dimension Implementation Meeting (HDIM) of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), to be held in Warsaw, Poland, September 26 to October 7. The delegation will deliver the United States’ positions on the state of implementation of OSCE’s human dimension commitments. They will engage with delegations of other participating States and a range of NGOs and civil society organizations.
The Warsaw HDIM is the OSCE region’s most important human rights event of the year, bringing together hundreds of government representatives, human rights activists, and international experts. HDIM participants will evaluate the implementation of human dimension commitments by the 56 participating States of the OSCE and review the procedures and mechanisms for monitoring and enhancing compliance with these commitments.
This year, the HDIM will feature three special topics as they apply to OSCE participating States for comment and consideration: elections and elections observation, freedom of movement and internal migration, and the status of Roma and Sinti peoples. In addition, at this year’s HDIM, the United States looks forward to addressing the applicability of fundamental freedoms recognized by OSCE participating States to powerful new digital media and the online world in general.

Social service, innovation/ inventions, writing, free technology to students for preparation of science exhibition projects, free technology to common men for their sustainability, preparation of big natural bonsai, technology for entrepreneurs and industrialists for innovative item are few works of Mihir Kumar Panda after his Government service.
