Steampunk meets Sin City. Definitely a reflection of how I feel about the British weather at the moment. Keeping me indoors, time to do another comp :)
This photo of a South African import, called the Sun Star was created in studio using this lighting setup:

then "merged to HDR" in Photoshop CS2

it would be neat if the clouds really did this, but that would probably mean something really bad is going on.
Cottage at Doohey, Donegal, Ireland. Red doors and window frames on whitewashed cottages are common and quite beautiful.
The ragman and his companions have made it home just ahead the storm. They pause for a moment's rest, but only a moment. He must put the wagon in the barn and unhitch the horse before the rains come and spoil his load. He can unload tomorrow,

Two nomads, friends of old, meet on a deserted plain. There's a definite Middle Earth vibe to this one. Apart from the Dartmoor background and the sky, it's CGI all the way again and composited in photoshop.
I have uploaded a new version of this image after realising the horses tail had no hair. My usual hair brushes in Photoshop are not so great, but thanks to Pareeerica, I now have some lovely hair to play with on my comps. When I feel brave enough, I will have to try them out on a human rather than a horse :)
Big thank you to Pareeerica for helping me out with hair effects by CindysArt

Sorry for those who commented on the original image - I made the image public before I realized I needed to make the 4 images square!
Just having some fun with Cola and MS Photodraw! Lost some of the clarity but I'll have to work on that!
I changed the title thanks to getthebubbles!
This composite image relates to a blog post I wrote about image manipulation. When I overlaid two versions of Florence Nightingale's portrait, a third face seemed to appear. Not what I wanted, but I like the effect.
