New Creation inspired by work on two variations for the WET Challenge in the Amazing Circles group.
Created using the so-called Amazing Circle technique, outlined here:

This image was created in response to the Week End Theme (WET) Challenge.. the discussion thread for that is here:

and the quidelines for entering your own circles into the Challenge is here:
This set of four images of the saucer magnolia in my driveway were done by the light of my off-camera flash, softened with a semi-inflated plastic Walmart shopping bag. I gathered the opening around the flash while encouraging the bag to stay as air-filled as possible.. like a big pillow/bubble... which I would hold wherever I wanted the soft light to come from. All educated guesswork, since I couldn't see the results before the shot, but could adapt by checking the review screen on the camera. I used the 18-55mm kit lens set toward the wider-angled end to get a more intimate perspective.
Some tonal tweaking and selective sharpening done in Photoshop.
The South African native Spring flower, Sun Star.
Photoshop's High Dynamic Range function was used in creating this flower image, resulting in somewhat richer details.
My second attempt on image manipulation with heavy compositing. This is the hardest compositing ever (solid 8 hours of editing)
This is based on... well we've all felt the pressure of succumbing to the 'popular' culture ( I know I sure did) so this is my self-portrait on trying to break free, while looking like i have the biggest migraine ever :) But on a serious note, I'm glad I found "me" that I'm most comfortable being in. Takes a whole load of pressure from trying to hard that's for sure. But hey, I'm happy! We should all JUST be happy for ourselves and not think too much bout other's happiness (unless its your family, dog, cat... or your plant :) ) God Natt & Sov Gott! :)
Ghost mannequin service is one of the most popular forms of #imagemanipulation services. Most e-commercial sites get help of the #ghostmannequin service or #

looking almost more like a kraft paper bag, this leaf had textures and shape aplenty

... to interest the photographic eye.
Then.. add Photoshop, and Instant Transformation.
Using layers and blur filters on individual color channels gave me the color shifs including the pinks at the leaf-edges... then with some diffusion and blending mode adjustments I obscured the ivy setting.
The market square at Ripon with the Town Hall, Obelisk and the Wakeman (George Pickles). Edited to remove people and cars. The Ripon Wakeman blows his horn on the corners of the Market Place Obelisk at Nine o'clock each evening, a tradition unbroken for over 900 years.

I artificially simulated the effect of a wide-open aperture on a serious 'swung' sheet film camera lensboard.. or back.. or both...
for this portrait of Daniel "workin' here" N, during a monthly gathering of the Raleigh, NC flickr meetup group. We gathered at Stan Crocker's "Crocer's Mark" gallery on W. Morgan Street for a 'getting to know you better' session and resulting portraits.
Daniel, you are, hereby and exclusively, granted whatever use you may wish for this image of yourself.
