Used GIMP 2.4 (Linux) to distort a personal photograph into a kaleidoscope. The frame is beveled and drop shadowed with xach effect.

Figured I'd have a little fun tonight with my 365 shot tonight (and I didn't want to overdo the Magritte's that I have been doing - more on the way, but taking a small break).
I took this shot specifically for the T-Shirts! thread, but I guess it also fits in the Movie Stars mini challenge as well (Darth Vader is a movie star, right?). I have several t-shirts that I really love (well more than several now that I think about it). This happens to be one of my current favorites. I came across this one while browsing through Threadless and just had to have it.
I expect that I'll do several more t-shirt shots during the 365 Days, but I wanted to start with one of my favorites. The other one that I know I will definately do requires a few props that I don't happen to have handy, so I've been holding off on that one.

one of the spiders that take up residence in out-of-the way corners of the house, before I "set him free" off the back porch.
I shot the photo of him backlit against a window at a high ISO, which gave me lots of juicy noise --further enhanced with More noise and some colors/effects in Adobe Photoshop CS2.

It really is a magnificent piece of art. I lived in Harbison back when my kids were small and the mall was built. The food court is the perfect place to take several picky people out to eat and we did it often. Finishing out the evening with a ride before going home. Wonderful memories...

This tissue-paper-like pink poppy, from a few weeks back is one I lit using a softened outboard flash. I liked the light on the blossom well enough, but hte background only held my interest for its swept right lines.
Using a couple of Photoshop-filtered layers, playfully blending them in different ways, I came up with this treatment to liven up what were originally flat greens.

Date: Sun, 7th June 2009.
Just shortly over a year after it was officially opened by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin, the roof of the stadium named after him in Gong Badak, Kuala Terengganu collapsed (Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009 15:13:00), damaging a few cars that were parked in the vicinity.
Thankfully no one was injured in this incident.

Background picture is "Times Square" one of my most fav place in New York City. I love to see people mostly tourists walking slowly wearing fancy dress and socks with sandals.
Me and Val had a lot of fun at "Central Park", another fav place of mine. Weather was pretty worm(!) that day.

This is a fresh development on a bunch of closeups I had done of a pair of feathers I assembled, last November. The "globes" are made with the Amazing Circle procedure using the base image, below, and in this case, multiple instances of the circle added back into the original image.
