Whatever the cause there is no known cure. Some will tell you that clowns are merely actors with facepaint. Wrong. All clowns are evil demonic demons and desire nothing more than to eat you alive - you know, for fun. Those aren't idle ramblings of the Iconic mind, those are facts.
"Do Capitalismo Industrial ao Capitalismo Cognitivo" foi uma intervenção produzida pelos designers Francisco Arlindo Alves e Rodrigo Silveira para o SESC Ribeirão Preto em 2010, num painel de 1,60 metros de altura e 7,40 de largura. Com a utilização da técnica halftone, as imagens são decompostas em uma infinidade de pontos que são substituídos por ícones.
Os variados tipos de interconexões e configurações entre ícones e as imagens como um todo buscam representar imageticamente as conceituações descritas por autores como Giuseppe Cocco, Gilvan Vilarim (2009)* e Antonio Negri (2004)** que relatam uma reorganização do mundo produtivo resultante que consiste na passagem de um capitalismo industrial para um capitalismo cognitivo.

AUTORES:
Francisco Arlindo Alves é mestre em design. Tem exibido trabalhos de arte e tecnologia em exposições como o Media Art Friesland (Holanda), a WEB3DART no Web3D Symposium (Inglaterra) e o FILE - Electronic Language International Festival (São Paulo).
Rodrigo Silveira é designer gráfico. Foi premiado na Bienal de Design Gráfico e Prêmio Abril de Jornalismo e teve trabalhos publicados em coletâneas das editoras alemãs Taschen e Die Gestalten. É um dos criadores do coletivo Instituto.

Origami! It's amazing! Inbar has done this using only ICon programmes (and a lot of free time). Afik from Beit El (also a very nice guy) has contributed the top star. I used this as a token and an attraction at the SF&F Society stand in which I was volunteering, convincing people to sign up. Let me tell you, at least one person signed up to the Society and not to the RP club because of this paper-folded wonder.
