A few weeks ago, when Christmas was about to start, I went to a hill in a park in the Las Tablas neighborhood to take some night photos.
Once again, I took a photo of the iconic La Vela Building, where the BBVA Headquarters are located.
That night the sky was completely cloudy, reflecting the glow of the great city.
Now, January 6, with Three Kings Day, Christmas is finally over. In my case, I wanted this day to come for several reasons, the first because it is a very magical day for children, when they receive many gifts from the Three Wise Men, and the second because I wanted the Christmas celebrations to finally end. You won't believe me, but every year I hate these holidays more and more and people´s hypocrisy.
Now it's time to return to the daily routine, in my case and because of my work I never abandoned it during these Holidays, and it's time to reflect on our current behavior and offer more solidarity and respect to others. In this way, we will all be happier and we will feel more integrated.
I hope that your beginning of the year is being calm and happy.

Vintage, rustic-style entrance sign on Highway 61 at Gooseberry Falls State Park. This sign is one of my earliest memories of the North Shore.
The park is located in Castle Danger, about ten miles north of Two Harbors, Minnesota on the North Shore of Lake Superior. It is one of Minnesota's most popular and treasured state parks.
It was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in the late 1930's/early 1940's as part of the New Deal getting men back to work during the Great Depression. There are several awesome historic buildings here along with lots of trails, many feet of rocky Lake Superior shoreline, a campground (book a year ahead of time for summer camping!), an awesome picnic area with CCC-built tables still in place and lots more.
It's a "must stop" place if you are going anywhere on the North Shore.

This is probably the most iconic and known ship of my Country's Navy.

3801 is a two-cylinder simple, non-condensing, superheated, ‘Pacific’ 4-6-2 express passenger steam locomotive. Operated by the New South Wales Government Railways between 1943 and 1976, it is arguably Australia's most famous steam locomotive. I took this shot at the 150th anniversary celebration of railways in New South Wales in 2005.
Here is a link to a video of these locos in action at the 150th Anniversary celebrations: www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1CAAsFBP2s

Built in 1974, the sign became known as the “gateway to the Cross”, featuring on music videos, TV, famous photographs and as a landmark meeting point.
Considered the largest billboard in the Southern Hemisphere at 41 metres long and 13 metres high, the sign is comprised of two sides – the right being the traditional red and white Coca-Cola sign and the left being a flex-faced sign that’s used to display the latest Coke campaigns.
