On Commercial Street, the front window of Cannabis Nation becomes a white-on-glass tribute to Astoria’s working waterfront. The great steel sweep of the Astoria–Megler Bridge anchors the scene, a container ship easing upriver while a fishing boat heads out toward the bar. Below, the pilings of vanished canneries rise like a ghost forest, and to the right the Astoria Column stands watch—part nostalgia, part maritime beacon. It’s a storefront mural made of local icons, turning a dispensary window into a quick panoramic lesson in Astoria’s past and present.

This is the Michigan Central Train station. I took this shot while on a great adventure with my best friend Derek (check out his outstanding work.....DetroitDerek). He was showing me some editing techniques and we came up with this, which I thought turned out fantastic :) The station was built in 1913 and was abandoned in 1988.

Looking northeast from the Joffco Square (Best Buy) parking lot. The Sears Tower dominates (Yes it's now officially the Willis Tower, however Chicagoans still call it Sears Tower). Other iconic structures include 311 S Wacker (next to the Sears), Chase Tower, and the Board of Trade.

I found myself needing these for a personal project so developed some high-resolution icons, and thought I'd share.
I was fooling around with iPhone SDK at the very beginning to create an app to give readers short excerpts of blog post, photos, downloads, tweets. Guess what, before I acquired enough skills to actually create one, there is this MotherApp service to do almost everything for you.
Honestly, I don't think people, even myself will read blog posts in an iPhone app but it is fun by itself to create an app that's gonna be on Apple's app store. The Scription app is supposed to be out in January, let's see how it turns out.
