This is an HD version of the Ice-Out Dusk Video. A few minutes before the start of this video the ice sheet was right up to our shore. However, a cold front had just arrived accompanied by strong north winds. The ice sheet begin to move relatively fast to the south. If you grab the slider in this video with your mouse, you can see how far the ice sheet moved in the first 60 seconds of the video. For 30 minutes people were knocked down, and thrown aside, but then picked themselves back up and put themselves back in front of the truck. Over 15 people were reported arrested.
