A poll of snow melting in the Alps gives splendid tones and hues of blue while reflecting the mountains and the sky. A simple shot but some wonderful colors.
A long exposure, landscape image of icicles formed around fallen branches at the base of a waterfall near Auchterarder in Perthshire, Scotland.
The ice is real, but there was some human help to build it like this in "Eispaläste Schwarzsee". Anyway, beautiful formations.
According to the sign on the post, fishing is only allowed from November through March. Essentially, that means only ice fishing.
Presumably, the reason for this restriction is that this is a large and popular marina. It's very busy in April through October with all manner of boats, from small to very large.
Constant kindness can accomplish much. As the sun makes ice melt, kindness causes misunderstanding, mistrust, and hostility to evaporate.

This is not a panorama, it is a single HDR image. 1.8mm UWA focal length - equivalent to 17mm focal length for FF.
We visited the island where the elephant seals live. I was surprised that the penguins don't seem to care about the seals, even though seals eat penguins.
An iceberg drifting in the Fjallsarlon glacier lagoon. Must have turned upside down. I wonder, how these linear structures have been created under water before.
