Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park
Michigan
Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park in Michigan is home to a collection of hidden waterfalls that often go unnoticed amidst the grandeur of its more famous attractions. While the majestic Presque Isle River Falls draws the lion’s share of visitors, the park’s lesser-known cascades, like Greenstone Falls and Overlooked Falls, provide serene escapes for those willing to venture off the beaten path.

The Gotha G.IV was a German heavy bomber used for strategic bombing during the First World War. It was introduced in Early 1917, and saw action until the end of the war.
Well guys, Here it is! After about a month of designing, building, and ordering parts, my Gotha G.IV model is finally done. I'm really happy with how it turned out, but it's not perfect. The wings should probably be longer, and there should be a few more struts. Regardless, This thing is coming to BFNJ with me this weekend so make sure to stop by if your going! Also, Credit to Max for the mechanic and crate.
If you actually read that entire thing, thanks.
-Enjoy!

6 days of >104F fever... today we spent 8 hours in the hospital... none of the tests could even conclude if the illness is bacterial or viral... at least the iv fluids seemed to help enough that we didn't have to stay the night... and her fever is down... she was so sad... she said she felt like a pincushion... she spoke in such a weak whisper... breaks our hearts... & katie was so brave... a stiff upper lip and katie held still while they put in the iv... i am so sad and proud and hopeful that she will get well soon...

A nice touch is the Indian warrior head on top of the radiator, which was a feature of buses built by Guy in the nineteen fifties.

Shaft of the Rothschönberger Adit drainage gallery near Freiberg in Saxony. The Rothschönberger Adit drainage gallery, excavated between 1844 and 1877, is the deepest and most important drainage adit in the Freiberg Mining Field. At the beginning of the 20th century, the adit was the longest underground structure in the world, at over 50 km in length.

I was looking at my next Death Valley trip photos I'm going to post and spotted this image in that folder. This was taken on February 29, 2020, but I don't know where. It was not in Death Valley. In fact, my DV trip took place in mid-March that year.
So, I did a meta data search through all my photos and this was the only photo that was taken in February 2020.
Consequently, it must be somewhat local, especially with the cholla cactus in the foreground, but where, exactly, stumps me. If I had to guess, I'd say down in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, which is about an hour's drive from where I live.

Finished this one before Skaerbaek but wasn't able to bring it down there unfortunately. Really had fun using the christmas-globes, although I really wish they had some connections points...measures around 115-120 studs.
So I was finally able to edit a picture of this build, just took my old-ass laptop 5 crashes before it got done...haha!

Dear contacts and friends - I have a habit of commenting as much as I can on all of your uploads, even when I am not uploading myself.
I am now embarking on a project that will need my full attention and I must try not to be distracted too much by Flickr.
So in the next period of time I will only upload once a week at the most at which occasion I will then visit your streams. So over the next few months you will be seeing a little less of me.
I hope you understand.
