Australia's Sand Goanna, Varanus gouldii, is also known as Gould's Goanna, Racehorse Goanna and in some Aboriginal languages Tingka (Central Australia), Bungarra (WA), Kalwarri or Talak (Jawoyn, NT). Seen near Boulia, outback western Queensland.

Falls here, which means Emilia and myself were up early packing up and getting ready to head out hunting! It was also a great way to get Titan(far right) ready for his upcoming hunter competition.
I think we left at roughly about six in the morning? I didn't really look at the time, but we didn't arrive to the site until about one.
Long story short, it was a long day..the horses were cranky, it was cold out, Emilia managed a doe, but I still had yet to get something. It wasn't till we were getting ready to get packed up a buck showed up.
Shot the buck, sent Titan after it..here we are! For the first time, Salem(middle) did a great job with the guns and deer on his back. Honestly all the horses did well, and now all we have left to do is load everything up and head home to get the meat ready to process.

this a different kind of hunting. hunters in the picture above spend hours of patience standing atop the ladders waiting to shoot fishes! probably a better title for this is "fishing season".
Private hunting grounds of the royals King Willem I and King Willem II.
Although not the same Heron in this sequence, it was most interesting watching this Heron hunting on Tealham Moor, Somerset. Later on West Sedge Moor I saw another Heron carrying what might be a large Water Vole or possibly a Rat. Just after taken this, the Vole was dropped!
Ex ETPS Hawker Hunter F.6A XF375 alongside Hunting Jet Provost XR650 outside BDAC.
The Hunter is apparently up for repaint shortly.
BDAC is mainly housed in a Grade II listed WWI Hangar at Old Sarum airfield just North of Salisbury.
This new venue has great facilities, highly informative displays and artifacts, but primarily, superb access to most of the cockpit sections on display coupled with a warm and friendly welcome by all the staff there.
With more changes due, this expanding collection is a 'must do' for all those interested in our Aviation Heritage.
