Lots of cars are waiting to go through the tunnel.

An SS8 runs around it's train at Hong Kong's Hung Hom Station. In a short while it will lead another cross-border intercity train to Shenzhen and Guangzhou, China.

Yet another Cityflyer Dennis trident. They were beautiful, but I don't even know if Cityflyer still exists.

This is the last bus photo from Hong Kong meantime. I have plenty more but I will leave it for a while.

Tomorrow I start scanning planes landing at Kai-tak.

Local temples to Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy, have extended their hours so worshippers can borrow from her.

Tradition is that Guanyin once a year provides the means to become wealthy.

But these are loans, and borrowers must clear the debt by the end of the lunar year by burning a red packet at the temple where a deal is made. Offerings, meanwhile, are welcome.

Almost all buildings at the PolyU campus features red brick facades with very geometric compositions. I have passed by it many times but this is the first time I have been inside, and it was actually a lot nicer than I had expected.

Although the buildings officially have a name (usually in reference to their donors), they are usually referenced by students and their staff via their “core” name—a letter from the English alphabet for speedy way finding.

Pictured is the intersection between two buildings: Anita Chan Lai Ling Building (陳麗玲樓 Core P) and the Pao Yue-Kong Library (包玉剛圖書館 Core L).

Hunghom Ferry to Central.

Red Light Hill is a nickname only. Originally there was a red light signal up here for guiding aircrafts when Kai Tak airport was still in use. After the relocation of airport, the red light was also gone but we still used to call it 'Red Light Hill'.

When I was a kid I spent a lot of time here. We just climbed (I mean climbed, not walked) up playing ball games or just hanging around. Well I'm no longer that energetic now and of course, I'm a lot busier than the me 20 years ago. But I still love this place, some things never change.

This series were taken during my stay in Hunghom 1990 - 1992.
