As each day goes by both my wife and I swear that there are more and more hummingbirds out there. No, I don't think we are going crazy, but when they are really active, during the coolest part of the day, you would think there are a bunch of bees out there. I wonder if I can get the FCC or someone to send over a air traffic controller, lol.
My juveniles from last night were gone this evening. Only this female Ruby-throated was there tonight. Not camera shy at all. She let me move the camera up from my waist to the ready position and take about a hundred shots tonight.
What is really amazing about photographing hummingbirds is you may catch a couple of hummingbirds in almost the same spot doing the same thing, yet each picture is different. We had a storm roll in tonight and that ment low light which upset me because they were all out in force. I am now refilling the feeders every other day. To be honest with you I think they have a drinking problem, lol
