By the end of the painting, they formed a giant Circle of Hope with each person holding hands together, singing, dancing, sharing for our hopes and dreams. The opposite of hope is hopelessness, which can be an underlying feeling for many people in a world of bad news and challenging circumstances. It is essential that we all stand together in unity for a wonderful future filled with love and beauty that we can all share and pass along to those after us. There were many audiences, including male and female, watching the bodypainting. So many people are holding their camera and cellphone to take pictures of the male and female models.

In a quiet corner of London, two cyclists stop for a quick chat. The peaceful street and a ‘No Entry’ sign give a sense of limits, making their short exchange feel more significant in a city that never stands still.

The way the leash stretches across the frame, pulling the dog slightly behind the man, adds a subtle tension to the moment. Meanwhile, the couple's leisurely stroll contrasts with the dog's curious pull, creating a narrative of its own – that gentle, unspoken tug of dependence and independence between them. There’s a delicate balance between freedom and connection, both in the leash and in the relationships around it.
I took this portrait of a boatman at the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market in Thailand. His expression caught my attention—it’s calm, focused, and full of character. I used a 150mm telephoto lens to capture this moment from a distance, letting the natural light and shadows bring out the details in his face. This photo reminds me of the hardworking people who keep traditions alive in this unique part of the world.
There is a strength that doesn’t raise its voice. It doesn’t rush or demand attention. It simply stays. A mother’s embrace is that kind of strength—soft yet unshakable, quiet but endlessly powerful. In this moment, there is no urgency, no distraction—only the safety of closeness, and the assurance that everything is as it should be.
A brilliant moment from Pike Place Market, Seattle. A street musician pours his soul into every note, brilliantly bridging tradition and modernity with a handmade Venmo sign. A tribute to those turning the streets into art.
Two cyclists in Brugge, each caught in an almost identical gesture. Hands lifted to their faces as if choreographed. Whether strangers or companions, it hardly matters; the unconscious mirroring creates a fleeting moment of human synergy. These are the small, fascinating harmonies of street life. Patterns appear and disappear, and may leave you wondering if they were ever really there, except for the evidence of a split-second photograph.
A vibrant and intimate look into daily life at a Namibian street market, where tradition, craftsmanship, and family come together. Beaded jewelry, handmade crafts, and cultural heritage shine under the African sun.
A poignant winter scene captures the aftermath of the Bosnian War through the lens of resilience and survival. This photograph—taken near Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina—features a father and child walking along a snow-covered road, plastic bags in hand, embodying the silent strength of those displaced by conflict. The yellow railing of the bridge frames the backdrop of steep hillsides and clustered homes that once buzzed with daily life but now bear the weight of war’s memory.
The foggy sky merges with the snow-covered landscape, creating a subdued color palette that echoes the region’s melancholic beauty. The road winds through the rugged hills, lined with patches of ice and snow, revealing the resilience of the people who navigated these treacherous paths to rebuild their lives.
This image is part of a broader documentation of warchitecture—a term coined by Lebanese architect Bernard Khoury that explores the haunting beauty of war-scarred buildings and landscapes. It reflects not only the physical scars left behind but also the emotional weight carried by those who survived.
From the Mihatovići refugee camp to Tuzla’s battered neighborhoods, this photograph stands as a testament to the strength and perseverance of Bosnian refugees.

Campo de' Fiori - A Roman market scene where the rhythm of daily life unfolds through words exchanged across a stall. Seller and buyers are engaged in a dialogue that goes beyond fruit and vegetables, revealing how ordinary encounters hold the pulse of the city. It is not a staged moment but a glimpse into Rome’s living fabric, where tradition and human connection meet under the same light.
Two figures walking arm in arm, framed by light and shadow. There’s tenderness in their unhurried, familiar, quietly connected pace. The wall ahead catches their silhouettes, echoing what we can’t see: the shared history, the years, the comfort of companionship. In the end, this is what the human condition returns to: a need to walk beside someone, even as the world keeps moving on.

She pauses by the water, framed by trees and time. The light dances across the surface of the lake. Her pink jacket and yellow scarf feel almost painterly against the green, as if she’s part of the landscape, absorbed in its rhythm. It’s a quiet moment of presence, where nothing needs to happen except being here.
Beneath the hum of sterile lights, a silent war is fought —
A battle not against another, but for the promise cradled deep within.
In this moment between endings and beginnings, she bears the weight of love, fear, hope, and life itself.

The carillon rang out over the square, and this tourist couldn’t hold back her delight. We stopped for a chat, laughter spilling into the cobbled street. The cut-off frame leaves the story unfinished – just like the best conversations.

🇬🇧 At 't Hemelrijk café in Arnhem, I met two friendly tourists. She was photographing the historic alley nearby. I offered to take a photo of them together with their phone, and eventually asked if I could take a street portrait. They kindly agreed – and they’re glowing in the shot. I'm grateful for this spontaneous moment and their trust.

A woman with curly hair smiles while resting her hand on a reflective surface. She is outdoors in a serene environment, enjoying a joyful moment in nature.
A small constellation of friends on the sand gather for laughter, food, and conversation suspended in the golden hour. Nothing dramatic, nothing staged, just the quiet choreography of connection. The sea nearby, the warmth softening the edges of the day, and four people making a simple moment last a little longer.
