The Handmaid's Tale is a dystopian novel by #MargaretAtwood, originally published in 1985. Horrified after I watched the movie rendition made in 1990 and even more so in the #hulu series in 2017. Season 2 is now in session.
Built in 1728 by Dato Shamsudin during the Dutch ocupancy. It replaced the city's first mosque, built by the Sultan which was situated in front of the present Stadhuys and was later destroyed by the Portuguese in 1511. Only after the Dutch period in the early 1700's that mosques were again allowded to be built. It was later renovated by Wazir Al Sheikh Omar bin Hussain Al-Attas and its unique architectural style is not traceable to others in the country. Today it is one of the oldest functioning mosque in Malaysia.

The former Holy Ascension Church built in 1914, is currently being used as the Hulu Selangor District Traffic Police Headquarters (Ibupejabat Polis Trafik Hulu Selangor). In 1926 this building had been adaptive reused when Charles Compton Reade, the government town planner of the Federated Malay States (FMS) proposal of the new township involving the hilly site as the administrative centre.

Panoramic view of the adjacent Ulu Gombak catchment areas. The Klang Gates Dam (Bukit Tabur Dam) built in 1958. The dam capacity is 25,104 million liters. The Bukit Nanas water treatment plant takes raw water from this reservoir and produces 145 million liters of treated water per day.
