The Klang Gates Quartz Ridge is one-of-its-kind because it has four types of quartz formation. Despite being one of the most unique geological formation in Malaysia, the Klang Gates Quartz Ridge has little conservation and currently being threatened by urban development. More recently, the proposed Eastern Klang Valley Expressway became the latest threat towards the Klang Gates Quartz Ridge, as the expressway alignment may pass through the quartz strip.
The Klang Gates Quartz Ridge (Permatang Kuarza Klang Gates) is a quartz dyke that runs through northeast of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia within Bukit Lagong-Kanching-Klang Gates region. With the dimension of more than 16 km long and 200m wide, it is longest of its kind in the world.

Viewed fron the summit of Bukit Tabur Extreme. The Klang Gates Dam (Bukit Tabur Dam) built in 1958. The dam capacity is 25,104 million liters. The Bukit Nanas water treatment plant takes raw water from this reservoir and produces 145 million liters of treated water per day.

Thorny stem in young tree. Flacourtia jangomas (Lour.) Raeusch. Salicaceae, alt. Flacourtiaceae. CN: [Malay - Kerkup besar], Greater krekup, Indian-plum, Runeala-plum, Coffee-plum, Paniala. Probable origin tropical Asia; known only in cultivation. A small dioecious treelet that grows to a height of 10m. Trunk and branches are commonly thorn-less in old trees, but densely beset with simple or branched, woody thorns when younger. Bark is light-brown to copper-red or pinkish-buff, flaky. It produces small white to green fragrant flowers. The fruit, an edible berry, is eaten both raw and cooked as a jam or for making juice and marmalades. Plant parts also used in folk-medicines. Decoction of roots and leaves drunk for treatment of diarrhea; Paste obtained by pounding the roots also used for wounds, sores, toothache.

The former Holy Ascension Church built in 1914, is currently being used as the Hulu Selangor District Traffic Police Headquarters (Ibupejabat Polis Trafik Hulu Selangor). In 1926 this building had been adaptive reused when Charles Compton Reade, the government town planner of the Federated Malay States (FMS) proposal of the new township involving the hilly site as the administrative centre.

Rachel also had an extra computer, that was just sitting around. It's nice because it's decently fast, but doesn't have too much memory. That's a plus because it can go into hibernate mode really quickly. That makes it just as convenient as other Home Theater equipment to use!

Hulu.com is an online video streaming service in which many of today's popular shows are fully online for the world to view, it is considered an entertainment genre. Hulu Plus is the paid version which allows users to access any show or movie at anytime, but the free version doesn't allow certain episodes to display. Hulu.com specialize in professionally produced content for Big Media companies. A similar service is Netflix, which can also be displayed on the TV by using gaming systems such as Xbox or Wii.

Lygodium circinatum (Burm. f.) Sw. Schizaeaceae. CN: [Malay - Ribu-ribu bukit, Ribu-ribu duduk, Akar sidin besar]. Habitat - lowland to montane forest at 1500 m. Scrambling, climbing fern with a short, creeping rhizome. All species of the genus have an elongated climbing rachis (leaf stem) that has the capacity for indefinite growth, often reaching lengths of several metres.
