After almost a year i’ve been involved in photography, this time i really tried to make an HDR photography. What i have done here was a result from my reading, observation, learn in forum etc. I’m sure this is what we called High Dynamic Range.
I took this shot in Hulu Langat dam. I drove back and forth from east to west along the lake to get the best spot and finally i found this area. I had to walk down the hill about 200 metres to get the best angle.
To get a panoramic shot like this, i took 3 sets of shots from left to right and and i used 3 frame bracketing to get 3 different multiple exposures for each set. So, 3 sets x 3 exposures and give me a total of 9 shots. To ensure a good quality of shots, i set the ISO to 100, very deep DOF which is f/22 and RAW format off course.
For the post-production i combined all 3 sets in Photomatix, play around the setting to get what i want to achieve and after that i merge all combined sets using photomerge in Photoshop and give a final touch on it.

Selepas setahun aku bermain fotografi, baru kali ini aku cuba betul2 mempraktikkan apa itu HDR fotografi. Apa yang aku hasilkan ini adalah dari pembacaan aku selama ini dan aku yakin ini adalah apa yang di katakan High Dynamic Range.
Shot ini di ambil di empangan Hulu Langat. Aku memandu berulang alik dari timur ke barat untuk mencari spot terbaik dan selepas hampir setengah jam akhir nya aku jumpa kawasan ni. Aku terpaksa menurun bukit kira-kira 200 meter ke bawah untuk dapatkan sudut yang terbaik,
Untuk dapatkan imej panorama ini, aku amik 3 set of shots dan setiap satu set aku gunakan 3 frame bracketing untuk mendapatkan 3 multiple exposures yang berbeza. So, 3 set x 3 exposure, semua sekali 9 shots. Semua berformat RAW.
Proses post-production pula aku combine kan ketiga -tiga set tersebut dalam Photomatix, aku adjust secukup rasa dan selepas itu, ketiga-tiga combined shots itu aku merge dan enhance kan lagi dalam Photoshop.
Hutan Lipur Serting Hulu or Serting Hulu's recreational forest. I discover this place after visiting my son who is studying at a boarding school nearby. A beautiful place for nature lovers where you can walk under the rainforest canopy, enjoying the beauty of mother nature, bathing in the cool stream and waterfall. It's an absolute heaven for landscape and macro photographer. I will visit this place again in future to spend more time here.

Lei is fashioned from the red feathers from ʻiʻiwi (Drepanis coccinea) and yellow feathers from ʻōʻō (Moho spp.)* with yarn core and black ties.
It belongs to the Bishop Museum's founder Charles Reed Bishop (1822–1915).

Queen Emma (1836–1885) is believed to have gifted this lei to the great-grandmother of Wilmer C. Morris and Charles Everett Morris, who donated it to the Bishop Museum.

I built this pc for my dad, so that he can watch hulu desktop in his living room. He doesn't like the clutter of component boxes plugged into his TV, so I designed and fabbed up a case using acrylic from the left over bin at tap plastics, with a great deal of help from @drandolph, that allows it to hang off of a tv's built in VESA mount bolt holes.
3.0 ghz Athalon X2, 4 gb DDR2 ram, 250 gb hard drive, 300 watt mini ITX power supply, onboard Radeon 4200.
Hulu feels so pretty in Carrots' n Cream set fishmo sent us. ^o^

Beautiful view from the ridge leading up to Pu'u O'hulu just before sunset. Even though Farrington Highway is in the background, this view gives you an idea of what the natural ridges and landscape look like in Hawaii.

Known as the White Bat Plant, its weird flower arrangement is about one metre from top to bottom, on a spike, also one metre long. Its top bracts consist of two spectacular dorsals usually white and purple stripes and each one about 200mm wide. The true flowers (below dorsals.. centre) are like thick purple buttons and then there are huge purple whiskers which hang from the flowers to about 600mm below.
