The other Kurhn doll I got was a slightly more expensive ($14) Tang Hulu doll. Her packaging is a bit more detailed, but still easy to debox. I love the other doll shown on the back of her box, but I couldn't find her anywhere. Still looking :)

Getting up at the asscrack of dawn should be illegal. Worked from 7-2. Work flew by, which made it that much better. What was even greater than that: coming home to a clean apartment which means I got to lay around watching movies and napping. Boyfriend brought over our baby and he's now happily adjusting. :) I guess Chris decided to name him Martin. Marty for short. Made dinnner and then we laid in bed watching videos on Hulu. Good way to spend a Friday night if you ask me.

The Klang Gates Quartz Ridge (Permatang Kuarza Klang Gates) is a quartz dyke that runs through northeast of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia within Bukit Lagong-Kanching-Klang Gates region. With the dimension of more than 16 km long and 200m wide, it is longest of its kind in the world.

Viewed fron the summit of Bukit Tabur Extreme. The Klang Gates Dam (Bukit Tabur Dam) built in 1958. The dam capacity is 25,104 million liters. The Bukit Nanas water treatment plant takes raw water from this reservoir and produces 145 million liters of treated water per day.

HTPC is a Zotac IONITX-B-E with 2G RAM and an old hard drive running the XBMC Live distribution installed to the HD. I moved it into a smaller case a couple weeks after this picture was taken.

The Klang Gates Quartz Ridge is one-of-its-kind because it has four types of quartz formation. Despite being one of the most unique geological formation in Malaysia, the Klang Gates Quartz Ridge has little conservation and currently being threatened by urban development. More recently, the proposed Eastern Klang Valley Expressway became the latest threat towards the Klang Gates Quartz Ridge, as the expressway alignment may pass through the quartz strip.

The fascinating rock art site of Tchitundu-Hulu Mulume, the largest of the four Tchitundu-Hulu sites, contains both paintings and engravings. The site is on an inselberg, with art displayed on the mountain's flank (a lot of mysterious geometric figures) and further art (including paintings) in a rock shelter. The site was first documented in 1953. Tchitundu-Hulu is in southwest Angola, near the Namib Desert. It is more than 100km from the ocean. Seasonal rivers nearby might explain what lead to the usage of this site but I have no information on what the conditions were when the rock art was made - experts are not yet sure all four sites were contemporaneous - AT Tchitundu-Hulu Mucai one painting made me think of a turtle or tortoise.
Pokok durian berisi merah yang ditemui di hutan negara ini kini ditanam di Stesen Institut Penyelidikan dan Kemajuan Pertanian Malaysia (MARDI) sejak beberapa tahun lepas.
Stesen MARDI Jerangau Hulu Terengganu sedang mengkaji satu lagi spesis durian hutan bagi mempelbagaikan spesis-spesis durian yang berada di pasaran. Dengan saiznya buahnya yang sebesar tapak tangan dan warna isinya yang merah menyala, durian hutan ini dijangka mampu menarik perhatian ramai terutama bagi mereka yang gemar memakan durian tetapi tidak suka bau durian yang kuat.
Bagaimanapun, durian baru itu juga mempunyai rasa yang kurang sedap berbanding durian biasa.
