Nice panorama of a couple trees in the old tillman farm area of Powhatan, VA. Stitched from 4 photos.

 

I couldn't get far enough back to take this building in one shot - there was another building behind me - so this is a stitch-up of four shots, done using Hugin.

Standort: in der ehemaligen Hofreite des Gasthofs "Goldener Apfel", Langgasse 45, Mörfelden-Walldorf.

When we left La Posada on Sunday, we continued East and ended up at Petrified Forest/Painted Desert. It was a gorgeous day, with storm clouds alternating with bright blue sky.

 

This is the view from just below the Painted Desert Inn.

If you look closely, you can make out the long line heading for the entrance.

Take a series of pictures (e.g. 3) of the subject. It is important that there is at least one pictures in which the brightest part of the scenery is not cropped, and another one for the darkest part. (Check by the camera histogram.)

 

If possible, use a tripod. Thus, you will be able to skip step #2 and #3.
